By the reporting it’s already past the Ealing nimbys, the report says that “they are” not “they want to” build the new stand

I remember at market Drayton fc their manager said you don't need planning permission for a temporary stand how true that is I don't know.

All planning applications are lodged and a matter of public record. The Link that you dismiss takes you to the last application (pending) for a new creche....no application has been made for a new stand anywhere on the property........but hang your hat on some lazy journalism and ignore the council planning website

As I said, wait and see what happens then, see if there is any substance in the press report.

The official attendance v Leeds was given in League Express as 1,793, but that Guardian article says 2,500........the Guardian article is wrong on 2 counts, as if there were plans to build a stand this winter, then the council application would need to be in already and the gate figure,,,,,unless of course it's a temporary stand, which seems strange given their biggest gate will be in 2 weeks time when they host the exiles.....

I have total clarity here....no planning applied for, therefore t's either not happening this winter or it's a temporary stand.

Define difference between New stand and temporary stand. All I did was quote the press article.
The press article also said they are! Not they are planning. What inference anyone takes from that is there choice.
To me that suggests that Trailfinders have a solid plan to build a new structure as a stand at the Vallis road end, if that’s permenant or temporary don’t know and don’t care, but a temporary stand by default is New as there is nothing there at the moment.
It’s quite interesting so far press wise the express, times, guardian are obviously in dogs view all reporting false news, yet league express must be right.
Gate figure btw pre game ticket sales which includes season ticket was iro 1900 so I suspect the actual gate was closer to 2500 than the 1700 ish

So too put it to bed, there is a report in a decent paper saying there is a new stand going up this winter, with no planning permission in place obviously this will be a temporary structure, but it’s still new!
Permission for a stand all be it temporary I have heard from elsewhere as well.
Seems fairly straight forward to me, if it goes ahead then seating capacity would increase. Would it satisfy SL standards, probably unlikely? If we went up would they give dispensation?
