Agree. We need to avoid getting into an arm wrestle, cherish the ball, don't try to score on every play, but move it wide at every opportunity and I think we will win by 2 scores!

Sims will be a danger, he was one of the outstanding players in the WC for me.

Agree with Brian, simple sets, don’t get sucked into a battle, they will try and bully, it’s Rowleys way. Spot bussey, get him wound up we will get a penalty or two out of him.
Realising that repeat sets or pinning em back in there half will pay dividends rather thinking you have to score when you get near the line.
We cannot give away the same number of penalties as last week though.

agree about SIms but I am sure Danny knows as well as we do he is a danger. However get in his face and he quickly looses control. Ackers hopefully will get the recognition he deserves from LB fans for lying to them. I agree with advancement in your career as is has a short lifespan but to be in London made him homesick then he signs to be in Toronto for half a season

How is Jordan Johnstone doing good for London? 4th choice at Widnes but I really like the look of the young lad and potential.

No we are not bad, but we will struggle if we get injuries to key players. Meadows has done well so far, but we were much more dynamic in attack today with Api...

We keep Injury free we will go up this season, the issue is what happens when the injuries start to bite. That will be the test

Leigh just lost to 12 man Tolouse... Are they doing a bradford I wonder....

This season just gets better and better, Leigh have fev next, we could be out of sight from them before we play them...

Good bits today.
We respected the ball, we completed our sets, very few penalties. Defensive effort on our own line is pretty good. Dixon is playing with confidence, mark Loanne is going really well, battye gave no penalties away. We are not trying to score every time we get near the line. We took on there fwds and won it.
Negatives.
We still don’t know how to win the penalty at the ruck, unless you try to regain yr feet the ref has got little to penalise, couple of breaks we didn’t use the support.
But all in all an excellent performance.
As for going up, there is a long way to go yet, but so far two of the main challenges out of the way

Great performance today. First half Api was brilliant. The halves are superb. Forwards although smaller dominated and made good yardage in the contact.

I thought we respected possession when we had it and we looked very well organised in defense. I agree with NB that we do need to smarten up at the PTB/Ruck area.


16 Wins is what was needed in 2015 and 2017 to make the Qualifiers. Leigh have 2 more losses before they are out of it, but Fev, Fax and Dewsbury next 3 games and those sides will smell blood.......and how upset will Derek be if SL add 2 more teams this year then pull up the drawbridge

Excellent performance all round. Defensively pretty solid, attack first class, API is a class act, and a cool head, keep him and Jarrod fit, teams will struggle to keep us out. We will be hard to beat at home, as weather picks up I hops we can string away results together. I think keeping API and Jarrod fit is key,

Think the key at the moment is the coach, so far he is doing an excellent job.

Hellewell & Johnstone both looked to be struggling with injury.
