Well sensibly they have decided no change to next season's structure.
Hope they make decisions on 2019 before we start next season so we all know what we are playing for in 18, although I suspect it will be this time next year before they decide on some other crazy plan.
It will be interesting to see the reaction of the RFL if Catalans don't get there act in gear, them getting relegated can't be what they want!
But 2019? Back to franchise? Give em reason to put Canadians in SL if they don't earn it? And allow a N.Y. team straight in?
So a 12 team league franchised. N.Y. Toronto, wasps!!!! Leeds, saints, Wigan, wire, hull, cas, Catalans, hudd. Then who else? Sensibly London but that would not happen at trailfinders, and would need investors.

He comes on to stir things up and spout the same thing over and over again. Ignore him like the rest of us do. However years ago he was spot on with marketing and if listened to then things could have been very different, however he has become boring and repetitive

I know mate, I quite enjoy some of the discussions and on some subjects he actually posts some good arguements, I just see no point in these last two comments, you know debating face to face with folk I can sometimes forgive them getting overheated and using fruity language. Someone who sits and types foul and abusive words and phrases and thinks using upper case makes any difference shows the flawed character of a person!

He thinks Wigan, Saints, Catalan etc are top entertainment teams but we know different.
Its Castleford and Wakefield this year.
He thinks Trailfinders is second rate without having been there.
Its a neat ground with all the elements we need to run a successful club of our size and budget which had massive improvements between the end of last beginning of this season. Who knows what will go on between the end of this season and beginning of next.
I like the ground and think it perfect for our current needs.
Spend more when we have it but in the mean time build a team of winners both on and off the pitch and the rest will follow.

He's not wrong though with regard to Trailfinders though. Strictly speaking it barely meets RFL criteria for Championship rugby, will be completely unsuitable for SL should we win our place back.

I've been to trailfinders and found it quite pleasant.....the bride looked stunning!!!
No...Bradford game last year......tidy ground and perfect for us now..... But the reality we could've been going back up with a little more rub of the green.....and we wouldn't have been allowed to play SL games there

It doesn't meet the criteria unless I'm very much mistaken. Like most of the teams down south Broncos got an exemption from the standards this season.

No complaints. Frankly it is good enough for our standard with the possible exception of where the officials changing room is. Superleague, perhaps not.

In its present state trailfinders is not acceptable for SL if I remember rightly the criteria state a min 5000 capacity with at least 2000 seated. There is no arguement from anyone there, so nope without ground improvement or playing elsewhere we could not go up anyhow. At our current level not sure what the rule is re match officials room, it's not ideal but I think it is within the rules, there are separate toilets for officials and players!!!!
