No sh*t Sherlock! 2013 was a real pleasure and I genuinely think that spell helped him fall in love with the game all over again. The saying "never go back" applies in spades to Sowie this year. The Club is a shadow of the shadow of a Club it was in 2013. Origin half and NRL Grand Final winner playing at an amateur Union ground in front of hundreds (even though those hundreds are THE best fans in the game!) and the reality is there was probably only one person in the Club who actually wanted him there (although he is holding the purse strings)
Despite all that I am so unbelievable pleased that Sowie played for my Club, and we will ALWAYS love him in our household!
Oh and by the way what he says about the game over here is right!

as for his enjoyment second time with us, what was the point in that comment don't really get it.
as for SL and NRL do I care? Watching NRL on tv is pretty dull the game has become sterile out there give me SL every day.

I agree with Micky1234 I do not think he played as well this time when he was over which has been reflected by him not getting a contract with a super league team. I think his comments are disrespectful to his team mates at the Broncos who had a great season and the Broncos who paid his wages. If he is such a great player why has he retired and not got a contract with a NRL team.

You cannot argue with his comments about SL and the Championship. As for the rest - well he didnt look as good a player as he did in 2013, he never looked very happy, he should have shown more style - Lewis Hamilton appears to havefollowed his lead...........

You get back to that age old argument. What do we as the fans deam as important? Is an entertaining competitive domestic competition what we want, we saw some very good games at SL and championship level. Agree with JS that to compete with aus we need to change, is international team success the be all and end all? I enjoy our version of the game, I find NRL far to predictable and dull these days, if that's the direction he is suggesting we go in then I don't think he understands the UK rl fan

How many fans turn out every week to watch club Rugby 26 odd weeks each year compared to 30k who go to watch the odd international. So nope I don't think we should change our game just on the off chance of gearing the aussies now and again.

I do think the bigger worry is the folk who think it's right to just walk away from contracts without a bit of honesty
