| Don't think there are automatic point deductions any more, but administration would place them into 'special measures' if they weren't already there.
This will mean the RFL scrutinising the books and generally not allowing any new contracts. Shame this has been triggered a little late for some ex-Broncos. We already have 30 signed for next season so can't see them fitting back in here very easily.

| Whilst I don't think it is automatic - think it depends on how the club exits administration - a deduction of up to six points is likely. That is assuming the club survives.

| Given they no longer own the ground, i think the RL bought it? They have very few assets so may not be that attractive?

Easily forgotten about. Only rated Foster and wished he had stayed. Their squad outside the 17 is pretty weak, I cant see many players better than what we have .... anyway hope they get sorted and dont need a fire sale.

| If they can come up with a plan, properly financed and which stands up to scrutiny, then let them stay in the league, knock off a few points and let them get on with it.
If not, then let them go under and perhaps a fan owned club can start up in Championship One. In a more practical stadium, in a sustainable manner. Probably part time.
For any club to go into administration every couple of years cannot be allowed. It is not good for the sport.
Bradford are not alone with their troubles, Sheffield are hanging on and Featherstone too appear to have HMRC on their backs. The game in Cumbria is in a mess. something needs to be sorted out. What do the RFL do all day?
Rugby League is a great game, I fear for its future.

It was ever thus - my "old" home twon club went from boom to bust, after something like 2+ years of 10,000 + crowds, had to sell (when there were buyers) all their best players Crooks, Schofield et al.
Apart from Leeds, Wigan, Saints, Warrington everyone else is on a hand to mouth basis.

Harsh on Keyes, and with Barthau's injury problems well documented .....

I may have been wrong, I see elsewhere a deduction of up.to 12 points is being discussed.

| Go find the RFL Insolvency policy.
Sanctions include revocation of RFL membership or
12 points or
6 points if new owner pays off all the debts.
There are also a number of other conditions surrounding these deductions but struggled to work out exactly what they all meant.

| Were the RFL to use the ultimate sanction and force the New Bradford Bulls to play in Championship One. Who would they promote, to replace them.
My guess is that it would be Toronto, in fact, I could see the RFL seizing this opportunity to do so.
Barrow surely should do so by rights, not to give it to them would be wrong. This is the RFL however.

| Should be Barrow not Toronto and surely this would have to be ratified by the other Championship clubs anyway. The RFL have a dilemma now especially if the Administration drags on. Surely to be fair to other clubs a decision will have to be made before the end of the year as the season starts again 6 weeks after Xmas

| What a fall from grace for the Bulls. They really embraced SL in its early days. Sad to see.
12 points deduction keep them out of the play offs

| may be better for them to be relegated down to Div 1 and start on level points. Think the real issue is where they will play, i think they are committed to play at Odsal in 2017, and that is bankrupting them

Why should it be them they have done nothing so far to prove themselves. They may be brilliant and march through the league but until they do something they should not get automatic promotion.
As for Bradford I know you probably weren't around when Broncos had problems but I dont forget they were a club which voted us out of the league and were very vocal in their thoughts. I feel sorry for the club and the fans particularly and I would not wish this on any team but it does make you wonder how they can still comment on the RFL saving us when in fact they did nothing whatsoever and the RFL actually bought a ground for Bradford to play at. They have had more help than any other team that I can recall. If they have to go down and rebuild so be it, their fans showed their loyalty previously and will do so again. Bradford fans have pride. We have had to start again and I believe it has done us good maybe Bradford will see that to.

| Sure I remember Bradford being against us when we had our problems. I remember fans from all clubs being asked for money to keep the club afloat.
I also remember when we played Bradford at The Stoop just after Bradford had been found guilty of cheating the salary cap. My seat was in front of the hospitality box the away teams used. Some of us chatted to people in there from the club, they were a bit glib, saying it was all a big mistake. No intention to cheat, just an error. None of us who were there thought too much of them for that.
It is their fans I feel for. They have been let down badly by their owners. They turn out in great numbers, create a great atmosphere. We sat amongst them at Blackpool and they were great people.
It could well be for the best if they start again and build from the bottom. I do think that they must get away from Odsal though.

| It appears Bradford Bulls are hanging by a thread. A decision has to be made soon and from what is said, the outlook for the once mighty club looks grim.
