It is a shame that things could not have been better organised for a proper presentation, but I do understand how difficult it would be to arrange.
It needs some thought in the future though.

Upon reflection, this is a prime example of the problem of the supporters relationship with the club. Someone at the club in the knowledge that the LBSA had gone to the trouble of organising Player of the Year Awards, should have found a way to present the awards, in an appropriate manner.
With the move to Ealing, it appears the club seek to improve their relationship with the fans. Not a good start, but let us hope for better in the future.

I agree and I'm sorry we had to do it this way. If you remember we presented last year's after the last game against Bradford Bulls and it was an excellent way to end the season.
We had discussed in the LBSA that we would like to do either a Forum or an End of Season "do". In discussion with the Club we went with the Forum - which was very successful by the way - and the Club were to incorporate our Awards in to their End of Season do.
The do didn't happen so we had to think on our feet and present these as best we could. We wanted to present them on the pitch after the game but the RFL wouldn't allow this! So needs must we did what we did, and its credit to Wes and Matt that they went out of their way to receive these Awards.
This will not happen again!

There can be no criticism of the LBSA, you made the best of a bad job. Just a real lack of thought from the club.
The LBSA can be a power for good with regard to The Broncos, I would urge any fans who have yet to join , to go onto the website and sign up. ITS FREE.
The more members they have, the more the club are likely to take notice of them.

Precisely- even non-attending fans ought to join. The bigger the LBSA is number wise the more DH will have to take notice. LBSA should be the soul/ conscience of the club!
