I really like Walton.

He's aggressive, strong, with a decent pair of hands. He will always put 100% in and I'm sorry to see him leave. He'll do great for you guys.

I must say, I like what I see, these are players with something to prove. Not players living on past glories.
Just need a few more and to keep hold of some of our current squad and we might be the team to watch next season.

You have got a really good player, hardworking always looks dead keen, Just lacking in height which is why I think he was not getting games in the Salford team, seems our coach likes big players

Recall he had a good game against us in the cup at Batley the other year.

As with all signings from the north need to see whether he stays with us more than five minutes

Got yourselves a cracker there. Isnt one of the bigger names at Salford, but not many give more when wearing the shirt than Jay Walton. As has been said before, he leaves everything out on the field, runs it in hard and will tackle anything near him.

I'm genuinely disappointed that we've let him go, particularly as he came through our academy (we haven't had many of those!).
