So arrangements have been announced for The "Summer Bash" at Blackpool Football Club's ground, over the 23rd & 24th May, Bank Holiday weekend.

Tickets start from £20 one day, and £30 for the two days. £5 discount early booking until 8th December. Personally I would have gone from starting price of £18, Bloomfield Road is a nice ground now, I would rather see it full!

We play on the Saturday afternoon 4.45pm against Sheffield Eagles.

Much cheaper for season ticket holders of all Championship clubs according to RFL website, presumably each club will get an allocation.

Been told by RFL ticketing that they are waiting for a list of season ticket holders from the club if you phone them up and you are on the list you get a cheap ticket.

They will take an advance order while they waiting for the list.

Booked my tickets today. £25 for the weekend unreserved seating in The South Stand which is where the Broncos have been allocated. Unreserved allocation hmmm

Yes that's right! but we want to also pull in the neutral supporters and local people, someone said to me on twitter, why do rugby supporters always want something cheap, well for one these are Championship matches and second we want to see the ground full, better playing in full of a nearly full ground than half empty?

That seems to be the case. On Facebook the club has said that they didn't want to turn up in last season's kit.

so basically the other 11 clubs, some of which are as close to being amateur set ups as you can be, managed to get their shirts out on time, but we failed......


Unless they've gone back to the pre 2006 red/blue/yellow and the proper pre African Broncos logo, there really is little excuse for a up like this....

Even if they are ALL wearing 2014's shirts, they at least are wearing a rugby shirt.

The guys have training kit which is blue tending to suggest the kit will be blue. Last years blue kit with no sponsor wouldn't have looked out of place I wouldn't have thought. Or even asking the manufacturers to send over a prototype!!

Leigh's is certainly the 2014 kit (new one isn't released until next Thursday's launch night) and I think a good few of the others are 2014's as well.

As the Brits say, "The Proof is in The Pudding" lets wait and see if it is a sell out, being such an "absolute bargain" in your opinion - the sport can't even sell out challenge cup finals at small grounds, and supporters in Wales were surprised recently for the game against France there was not one piece of publicity!

I would just rather tickets be reduced in price and see full grounds, with atmosphere!
