Mataitonga isn't staying but at least four are. Hopefully your three are in these- Farrar, Keyes, Wallace and Slyney.

Agreed nesis defence was poor but also thought Farrar could have done better and Dixon for that matter, i wouldn't be bothered if Farrar/drinkwater left, I can't remember if both or one of them is staying but it won't harm us.
On the plus though Wallace did alright today so I'd keep him Keyes and slyney put of your 4

Even the try from Dixon was a dissapointment why did he not come infield 20mtrs as for his defence well he was made to look like a boy.

Absolutely atrocious first half. Has a team ever dropped the ball so much in 40 minutes.

Farrar gets my goat. Lacklustre in defence and error prone in attack. The sort of senior professional who we have seen far too much of in recent seasons

Am I right in thinking that we perked up when Moore went off and we reshuffled with Keyes going to hooker, Farrar to stand-off and Thomas (who was very lazy in not trying to stop the Cat's player going under the sticks for their last try) to full back?

Thought that Captain Cook gave it 100% as usual. And young Jon Wallace went well against their big pack.

Cook is ok. But most want season to end.

Farrar is a revolving door. Not a SL player . May do Ok next year then. Tonga is woeful . Worst SL side ever put out. Zero intensity, can't tackle and little structure.

Farrer and Mataitonga are overseas players from the NRL so that means they are amazing players.

Moore can on occasion do well in attack, but in defense, he is unbelievably lazy. Just watching him walk around while team mates are trying to pull someone down is rage inducing.

People seem to have forgotten that Ben Farrar was playing full back or centre for Manly Sea Eagles when Brett Stewart was injured or suspended. And I saw him play in those days and he was quite a good player. I also saw a bit of him when he came to Catalans and there he did well until he got injured early in the season.

Something must have happened to him in the interim --- a bad injury? Psychological problems related to an injury? I don't know the answer. But something has definitely happened to him for him to drop from Manly NRL acceptable quality performer to a poor performer at the bottom of Super League.

Don't blame Thomas for the try (may have been next-to-last) but he made no effort to stop the Cats player from trotting across the in-goal area to the posts. Not that it mattered much, given the way that Bosc was kicking. Maybe young Oscar thought the same.

Is this the try when we had the comedy moment with 2 broncos players tripping over each other, if so then have to say, the best positioned player to do something about where the ball was grounded was Dixon not Thomas at least Thomas was moving towards the cats player Dixon just stood and watched.

Nesi is sure a poor defender but he's an ace ball handler. Should probably have a go at basketball, if he's tall enough.

What i found dissapointing about the game apart from shocking defence was in attack we tried to take them on up the middle, same as at the Hive, cats out muscled us, we needed to get the ball out to the fringes and see what our supposed speedsters could do
Think we got out of our half 3 maybe 4 times in the first half as well.

We're dropping down a league and some aren't being retained, you can see why. Interestingly Grima in the recent podcast indicated Dixon, Moore, Cook, Solomona and Vea were offered contracts for next year.
