Anyone else suffering match fatigue?

Got to say I'm not exactly looking forward to yet another schlep across London to the Hive.

I guess if we had the prospect of actually winning a game, it wouldn't seem so bad but this is really testing me out today.

The whole season is a chore, but hey ho that is what a supporter is for. Good times
and bad, though the good times are hard to remember.

But think of the value, you get to see 4 quality rugby league teams for £50 something on you membership.

Genuine question: as the new coach hasn't found any improvement in performance, does this mean the players are so poor they are beyond redemption?
I'm asking this because I was a critic of Tony Rea, and I am curious as to whether he was as hopeless as I suspect, or if his squad were never going to win. It seems the only improvement since Mr Grima arrived is that the post match comments are in plain English.
This is not a scapegoating exercise, just an attempt to see what people feel are the real issues around playing and coaching

I don't think any coach could have got results this season. The club administration saw to that.

The real worry is that this team/club has accepted defeats like this for too long.....

The issue is that there really has not been any improvement in results at all. And in some circumstances you could say they are getting worse. The fact that the coach doesn't want the majority of the current squad says it all. Clear out, clean start and find players who want to win, have an inkling of what that actual means and then deliver it. Keep the better players coming through who aren't blighted by enjoying two/three years of failure and get rid of the rest.

Perhaps some of the current squad in other teams will grow and prosper but collectively they have become a liability.

Had the pleasure of doing something else today so didn't listen to commentary, but followed game "posthumously", not knowing result, by going back about 6 hours on twitter and then rolling forward.

Players being dumped are no doubt uninterested. No solution - coach can't replace them by kids who'd just get battered.

A total mess.

Well thats the last of my cash they'll have for this season, Grima has to get real and remember theres a product to sell, I don't buy broken eggs or mouldy bread, I ain't paying to watch this either!

You are priceless. This is the one are you really can't comment on with any authority as you haven't seen a game in goodness knows how long.

Instead you pick on the first negative comment on the coach and off you go, questioning Hughes recruitment policy.

Even you would appreciate the current coach has a thankless task trying to motivate a load of players who are just not up to the job and many of whom have been told they're off or have told the club they're off.

Anyway only 5 games to go thank goodness.

The negative post I picked up was from captain positive himself, crusader Pete. Give this lionhearted fan was predicting a safe finish in the SL with wins "just around the corner" his sudden declaration that he won't be back this year is yet another signpost on he clubs road to oblivion. The only positive I can see from the club is that when it goes over the cliff, you and the other fanboys who go with it won't feel any pain because your grinning inanely, thankful that you had a team to follow in he first place!

Criticism of Grima is warranted if you ask me.

Being gubbed by Wigan & Saints is one thing.

Enjoy it as we know you do. Fan boys, boy you enjoy the you spout. The club is dead and you have achieved your ambition. You'll spout some , sorry seventy lines of incomprehensible , even suggesting that this isn't what you wanted, you'll make some excuse that your being mis-represented but you'll carry on.

The rest of us go to games, support the club, e as it is and look for the positive, even if we all actually know where we are. You appear unable to see that but I think you know that too. So enjoy your life, enjoy your trip to the Bradford game and carry on. Hopefully one day you'll earn the right to be as desperately lonely as you clearly are.

The fact that the idiot Oil Broker and a procession of his hand picked employees who were incapable of doing what they were employed to do managed to it up whilst referring to my musings (in public)with mirth makes it all the more infuriating that the club I follow, to the extent where I am planning a trip home around the Bradford Game at no small expense is going to the wall inside the next 18 months.

It will not rise Phoenix like from the ashes BTW.......it's not worth 2/10th of SFA to any potential new investors, so without Hughes, we're buggered.....and guess what, with Hughes we're looking at more buggery....difference is, I won't take it lying down with a grateful smile on my face like some of you!
