Thought he was with them as a junior. Played pre-season with the Skolars before Tony Rea considered him to be the answer to something

Living in Aldershot I saw Oscar a lot in juniors. Never struck me as a Superleague player but that's less of an issue now. Possibly needed to bulk up a little. He has a good skill set but didn't seem to relish the physical one on one tackles. He is a decent dead ball kicker.

I mentioned this in the other thread but it got lost amongst the usual nonsense. I think Thomas would make a good FB - he's got pace, ball skills and a kicking game. Tackling is less of an issue back there these days, the main priorities seem to be kick return and joining the line intelligently and at pace. Not sure what he's like under a high ball though, but he's worth a shot.

Has the ability to set the field alight with moments of brilliance.
Also has the ability to not turn up at all.
Be interesting to see how his time away from league has affected his game.

I reckon even Melissa Gilbert would give him a run for his money.
