| So, the axe has finally fallen and relegation, despite being on the cards all season, has finally been confirmed. It got me thinking about London Broncos and their time in Super League as the Broncos, the Canberra win, the second place finish, Wembley day out, play-off appearances and many more events that you all hold as memories and I thought it would be sad if the club went out of Super League with a massive whimper. Basically, it led me to think about a relegation party at the final game of the season.
With Super League out of the question (well, sort of) for a year minimum, the fans should celebrate the club's time in Super League and leave with a party of sorts. I don't know whether it would be possible to get many ex-Broncos there but I thought about the start of a Hall of Fame, maybe run by the Supporters Trust and some old pictures, videos and shirts on show to remind some of better times and show some newer fans that it wasn't always so bad.
A football supporting mate of mine was part of a similar thing when his side got relegated after a very bad season and he said it was used as a key to get people to start enjoying themselves again and get behind their club again and he said it actually worked.
Obviously things like venue and memorabilia on show would be a problem just yet but it is just a small plan thus far.
Just an idea.
