I always enjoyed my visits to the Stoop & Twickenham.

What's Barnet like? Where are the good, recommended [real ale pubs? And [igood[/i places to each? Car parking?

Remember it's not actually Barnet. Wherever it is it is a North london suburban desert.

I'm far from an expert on Edgware but Twickenham was far better for pubs from what I've seen.

Barnet is great, plenty of decent pubs, but like PP says the Hive isn't in Barnet, it's next to Canons Park tube which is 6 miles from Barnet.

About 15min walk from Edgware which has a couple of ok pubs like the Wishing Well and Change of Hart plus a decent number of restaurants. There is a fairly popular bar next to Canons Park called Moranos. Otherwise it's Wetherspoon pubs at Stanmore and Kingsbury which are one stop on the tube away or drinking at Bakers street before getting the Jubilee line to the ground.

The 3 bars in the Hive are decent. The food in the main bar is good.

Can Grima's promotion give the guys that spurt to take us on to a win?

Or does the lack of go-forward Props, still mean we are doomed?

Do they sell traditional, real ales or just keg?

tbh I'm struggling to remember. They had Bombardier last time I looked and some bottled beers as well I think. The East stand bar has a larger choice than the west stand bars as it's used all the time. Those in the west are matchday only.

OK the answer from some is we will not win any gamne this year but hey ho we have to hope.
Can we compete with udders?
Joe first game in charge proper! could ring a change or two, even though its the same squad, rotation might have an effect.
This new fella could be a bit of grunt we need, him and vea to keep Crabtree in line.
The key to Udderfield performances tends to be how well Danny Brough plays! as he shown since he got man of steel he has seen himself a bit above the laws of the game and loses his rag with the officials, we should be looking at getting in his face, try to wind him up and lose his composure (all legally of course)

Ferres is still out so thats good! we do need to look at going round the edges otherwise we end up with the same situation as the Catalan game and getting out muscled in the middle.

Giants are well under par atm. However still good enough to beat Cas and be 6th in table!

Think you may need some grunt. Eorl and Koppy are slowly improving. Off the bench Faiumu and Mullally will be a handful. Mullally had his best SL game ever vs Cas.

For close on a decade oppositions have 'got into' Danny's face. He's not done bad on it

We miss Ferres but Chan / Patrick / Tai will give you plenty to think about

Looks like Connor will play fb instead of Grix...sure you will test him out (a brlilliant prospect).

Cripes, good response mate, I have always liked broughs style of play just thought early on in the season he was reacting to much and it was effecting his game.

Not seen too much of him but whenever I've seen Taii play I've been severely underwhelmed. He's sure to have a blinder tomorrow now but never seems to run his weight
