The lad is an embarrassment.

If a player from a functioning club came out with that it would be embarrassing. But London Broncos are a massive train wreck. The club don't just keep their paying fans in the dark, they seem to treat their players and staff with contempt too. I am speculating, but If This is how they treat payers on a Day to day basis then its no surprise the payers don't bother on the pitch. It's unprofessional but you can practically smell the frustration.

Hate to say it because I think Clubby has shown no team spirit with the whole captaincy thing, BUT in this case the bloke has a point! From what can be read between the lines with the Dixon comments, Dixon for one would have no intention of going anywhere just yet but with so much uncertainty the blokes have to start thinking about the future. If the club has gone to the wall then let the class go and continue in the game.
If the club has a future then say so!
If they don't know then tell the players at least that they done know instead of nothing!!!

Yes I agree he has a point and it is time for a decision to be made with regard to the future. However I expect nothing to be said until after our last game.

The club are working on it. What more can they say right now if there is nothing concrete? Both internally and externally.

agree with you on that as well, I don't think anything will be said till after the last game! BUT non of the staff have a clue whats happening at all.
On the other hand, they all have contracts so hey they have jobs at the minute! and are still getting paid, unlike some of the northern lads (sorry Bradford)

but with the players starting to make the comments they have it has to be time for at least them to be given some re assurance that the club are on the case

The player's may be being treated badly by the club . But they are being paid by the club and to a certain extent need to tow the line . Mr Clubb has done nothing but rubbish the Bronco's since he accepted the captaincy .

The people who ARE being treated very badly are the fans who put thier own hard earned cash INTO the club and are being dumped on fron a great height at every turn by the Bronco's.

I don't know what he thought he'd achieve by having a go in the papers.

For a club captain, it strikes me as unprofessional.

I do feel a bit sorry for some of the players. Not many of them though. Particularly not the senior players that have been so poor for the last few years that it's almost destroyed the club.

It's the nature of being a pro-sportsman anyway, no job security, no guarantees, short career.....but you do get to run around on grass throwing a ball about for a living.

only problem with our players this year has been that's all they have done is run around on grass throwing the ball around for a living, they seemed to forget the second part involves catching it as well.

As for all the comments by players! ahh the joys of social media!

EW I think comparing the plight of the players who would end up being cast adrift without a job and looking for new living and fans not having a game to go and watch is a bit harsh.

If these players had pulled their weight over the last 2 seasons we wouldnt be in this position. A respectable league position would have been achieved, the club's attendances would have been enough to allow DH subsidise the club without losing sleep and we would not have been in this pickle we are now.

Just thought the same thing. Looked on the LB website and no squad news as of yet. It is pretty late, not that we have much choice with the numbers we have these days.

Isn't it 48 hours prior? So technically you have until 3pm. The Bulls squad has not been announced yet either fwiw.

Squad announcements are due at 2pm two days before the game is played. So for Sunday matches, it's a 2pm Friday announcement. Been like that since 2004.
