Hopefully someone at the club sees this (and no doubt other comments writing us off that will/have been published) and lets the players know. We only have a chance to compete if the team play with genuine anger and intensity.

In sport crazy things happen. Teams that look invincible have an off day and keep droping the ball and give penalties away at critical moments. And dont forget the most influential person on the pitch. If he has it in for you you will lose for sure no matter how well you play.

When? Wigan v Sheffield 1998. Though I suspect Wigan may put 50 past London this time.

I suggested they should have done the same thing in the 1998 semi. Joe Lydon basically said that the only way London could win was for Wigan to forget that the clocks had gone forward overnight.

If Wigan get a kicking tomorrow, or someone (God forbid) injured or sent off, the odds shorten. I am sure Jamie Soward will think of nothing but winning. Cup shocks are rare in RL but they do happen!

There's normally one big upset every season & other than us getting this far there really hasn't be one this season. So there's hope (not a lot but.....)

I was at that match in 98 the difference was that the Sheffield players were up for it, had a bit of bottle and had a decent coach.

I know Sheffield weren't the strongest but doubting that our team were 'up for it' and 'had bottle' at that match would be unfair. It was clear to see the players wanted that match and I have no doubts they will be once more on Saturday. Can't wait.

Agree with all of that Dave, just hoping for a 15 man brawl tonight for a few suspensions
