| Is strongly rumoured to be joining us (Wigan) next season. What are your thoughts on him? I must confess I know little about any of your players

| He good in attack, good enough to be in the England Knights squad, but his defence needs improving.
He also doesn't seem to understand that if the ball isn't going to reach the 10m line after kick off, you don't catch it (he's done that twice).
It would be a shame to see him go.

Sargy looks good in an attacking side. In defense he has a lot to learn! In a good side he would come on in leaps and bounds!

| I have to admit I've been a bit disappointed with his progress this season, he has the potential to be a very good player so maybe Wigan think they can develop his game further

| would be a weird signing considering Wigan's other options at centre IMO.
Looked great prospect when he came on the scene - skillful, elusive - but has not really kicked on this season. Is he even in the right position?
Has a nasty habit of offloading to no-one, and throwing passes in front of his own line without looking. Cost us the Dragons game at Esher by doing that. Doesn't seem to have been coached out of this.
Got potential, perhaps better off realising it elsewhere than at our circus of a club.

| It is just over two years since the halfback partnership of Mikey Bishay and Dan Sarginson, who came through the academy together and at all age levels for England gave long-term supporters the real hope that London would have a long term partnership in the key playmaking positions.
This would be a massive first for the club, whose development of players had been nearly always in the forwards and wing positions prior to then.
After a promising debut away at Gateshead Thunder, Sarginson played fantastically away at Salford and showed some real glimpses of high potential in a very mediocre team coached by Rob Powell.
In the last eighteen months he has not really progressed in the way you would like - he is yet to develop the type of physique which can withstand the kind of battering you get weekly in Super League, he has looked very poor in defence and has made a number of appalling errors with his distribution.
But he is still a great prospect and it does not surprise me that Wigan would be interested, after all the risk is low and both they and Warrington are more than happy to have huge numbers of players on their books playing at other local clubs, and they could get this guy out on loan until he is ready.
That may come sooner rather than later as Wigan have become a feeder club to the NRL.
Sarginson turned down a four year deal with us last year and you wonder whether he will be yet another former player who is in the 'stiffs' of a club or goes down the leagues or whether he will be another Louie.
He is a super bloke and if I were him I would stay for another year or two, rather than be loaned out to the Championship.
Cheers
Mark

I wouldn't say so, fb or in the halves would suit him better I think.
But from what I've seen he'll be a mile away from Wigan's 1st team, he's like a lot of London youngsters, good in attack, bad in defence.

| sad to see a southern player head north but cant say I blame him and as pointed out he'd stand a much better chance of developing and ironing out the errors if he's at a different club.

What a sad reflection on Our Club! I feel he has great potential and before Louis moved to Saints many of our fans did not rate him but I always did, I think he is now struggling at St Helens as they do not have a strong pack and he is out of his depth having to lead as prop! just shows the North/M62 is not always the Promised Land, many Saints fans would be glad to see him go, but rumours are they have just offered him another three years. I see Dan at Wigan becoming a full back, it will be sad to see him go just when we at last have young players with Potential! perhaps they know more than us???

I wonder if these are just signs that the NRL supply line has dried up with their bucketloads of cash keeping players in Oz instead of travelling over here. The M62 has never produced enough quality players for every club and has plugged the gaps with aussie players. If they are forced to look at our unproven suspect younger players things must be bad in their acadamies.

The exchange rate is not that good as well but as you say the NRL have the big monies not like the RFL and sponsors such as Brut after shave, the official after shave of RL!
Saints fans do not seem impressed with Chubb, but again they have not bought big for ages, no longer Big Names from Aussie but failing stars.

| Never got the hype with Sargie, yes he makes the odd break but never passes (aside from the questionable offloads) and not really up to scratch in defence. I'd still like him to stay and have a chance to develop further with us as there's clearly some raw talent but no huge loss if he goes imo.

| In today's trade press that he's been offered a three year deal by Wigan.
At the end of the season Wigan will lose Richards and likely Sam T as well.
Rumours are that Tom Briscoe could be the replacement winger for Richards so I'd expect Sarginson to replace Sam.
We have great younger players who can play full back or wing in Tierney and Hampshire for fb plus Manfredi and Burgess at wing but they are only 18 apart from Manfredi and all are some way off regular first team rugby.

He recently signed for London Broncos till end of 2014.
I assume that David Hughes has enough insight to realise that Dixon must be retained.
