I got an email from Fulvia Marconi earlier advertising the Legends Lounge availability for the Hull KR game at the Stoop. Can anyone spot the deliberate mistake on this copy and paste job:

"Access to the Legends Lounge hospitality facility (opens two hours before KO). Kick Off is 3pm for the Wigan game."

Good to see a further attempt at marketing, bad to see an attempt at marketing not being proof read.

This is the same person who confirmed that the vouchers with season tickets aren't planning to be used, since they are not 'compulsary vouchers'. Would have liked something like that to be listed in the information about the season tickets.

Could have put a * next to the vouchers, meet the players, fans forums, open training sessions, exclusive bar access and the monthly newsletter to state they were all non-compulsary.

Not that I'm still feeling a bit cross about it at all. At least the players are stepping up and performing now, that's the important bit I guess.

You would think a Marconi could communicate!

Broncos only changed the KO time back to 1:00 a couple of days ago on the fixtures & results part of their web-site after a subtle hint thinking about the HKR fans booking train tickets down etc. Epic fail from the Broncos web master if you ask me.

Stop with the negativity....don't you know they are short handed



There are amateur clubs around the world that are run on a more professional level than the London Broncos.....nothing they do (or fail to do) surprises me any more.....

In the email I received from fragrant Fulvia I'm encouraged to hot foot it to the ticket site because they are "selling out fast". Also be quick to book your legends lounge spot because "enquiries are coming in thick and fast". Looking forward to pushing my way through the crowds.

She is cute though.

She's put a link on Twitter before the Leeds match to the booking site and said tickets were selling fast. Must be why I couldn't find anywhere to sit.

I'm looking forward to us playing Wigan at home at 3 next weekend.

I feel like gutterfax - Gus just called to discuss this error and the season ticket stuff. He's held his hands up that the email was a big mistake and is getting that fixed. Same with things like the newsletter that they couldn't do with only a couple of people left doing these things. The vouchers being non-compulsary was still the response.

Apparently there was an open training session earlier in the season with only 10 people there - did anyone else get notification of it? I have no memory of something like that so could be a mailing list needs updating or something??

My comments back were mostly that it'd be better just with more communication. Whether it's a tweet or a quick post on the site, just say 'this is why we're doing this' or 'not doing this' and everyone will be a bit better about it. As above, if there's some sort of disclaimer about items like vouchers at least we know!

I also said that people who post online, discuss on Twitter, email him etc would probably be willing to help spread messages. I'm prepared to pitch in helping keep things looking quality where necessary, and I've apologised to Fulvia for putting her name here.

So nothing really to report, except it was good of him to call, not sure you'd get that at other clubs.

They sent an email out on 30 July and again on 31 August saying 1pm. Just a shame they didn't amend the time on the website after the 1st email was sent out. D'oh.

I actually emailed the club last week to point out that the Hull KR kick off was still showing as 15.00 on the fixture list on the web site. Amateurs!
