| If the reason for the proposed move from the Stoop is financial then consider this. My season ticket cost me about £70 less this season because of the ludicrous pricing policy and I know many other people didn't buy the expensive one or only needed to buy one rather than two.
Lets face it the ST price is anyway cheap. I will not go to Gillingham but I would have quite happily paid around about £200 for an unallocated seat in a properly stewarded block or blocks of unallocated seating on the half way line this season, instead I only needed to pay £99.
I will NOT go to Gillingham - it is the most ludicrous suggestion I have ever heard, and I don't really want to go to another football ground - the pitch sizes are way too small. I would however be prepare to pay more for my ticket to stay at the Stoop (say the extra on bloody train fares to Kent).
I don't know how to do a poll thingy but wondered what everyone else thought. Would you pay more to stay put?

| If PP is he willot to Gillingham then surely this is showing just how out of touch the club are with what the hardcore of supporters want.
Not sure I have read a single endoresement of Gillingham by one of the core of loyal supporters. I am a floating supporters these days and have only mustered 3 games but that is 3 more than I would do at Gillingham. Its simply too far for a home game

| If this fails, and I hope it proves to the club that we want to stay in London, how about following the Skolars and help them push up to the Championship? Promotion is a definite possibility next year.

I don't think there is promotion next year, leaving it a year for the new teams to bed in I read somewhere.
But back on topic yes, no hesitation.

| The pricing structure has been bizarre for a while now. Tickets are too cheap. Another sign of how badly the club is run from a business POV.
I imagine that the club could sell tickets at £5 more without impacting attendances such is the inelasticity of demand. That's the equivalent of turning your nose up at an extra £150k per annum.

| Yes.
And ever since they started messing about with seating arrangements I'd also have been willing to pay more to sit in the West Stand.

I quite agree. I paid the more expensive price but would have paid more if it was to help the club.
Yes I understand ticket discounting to drum up interest but we only get what we pay for and for the last few years we have been paying under the odds for top level sport in a top venue. Yes, we can moan about a lot of the performances that we have been subjected to in that time but again we were not being charged enough to pay for a top level squad and club in the most expensive part of the country.
A move to Gillingham is clearly aimed at a new and different market. Fair enough, good luck.
I however want to support a London club, playing in London. I am prepared to pay a reasonable rate to achieve that.

| Deffo!! The Stoop is the place for us......Double the cost of a season ticket is nothing compared to the time/travel costs to that Shite-hole Gillingham.....

The club should just write this season off and focus on next year as being the first of the "rebrand". DH has finally seen sense and binned Powell off and if Rea is announced permanently, then their is some real hope for a stable future (on the pitch). People are happy to pay obscene amounts of money to watch Harlequins RU only a few years after far more humble beginnings. Have the 1000 core fans paying £200 for a season ticket and go from there. If they product is good, people will pay.

| I would pay double what I currently pay for me and Master Sheen. Oddly, having paid more, I would be less likely to skip games, but would be more demanding of the team.

I bought the higher ticket as well - if I could be confident they would actually offer the 'benefits' listed with the season ticket I would pay at least the same if not a bit more.
Given that they haven't this year I'm already feeling unsure about it. If they go to Gillingham I'm out, which is a shame - I've introduced about 6 new people to RL this year and all have said they'd go again next season.
