The point is not that the Skolars travel by train but that the Skolars do a deal with Virgin and get publicity from it - That is what we didn't do. Add to that the Capital Challenge -(a Skolars initiative) and Friday Night Lights, where the Skolars showcase themselves and treble their gate. We just don't have the imagination.

I will say this.......the ball does seem to have been dropped both on and off the pitch. There seems to have been a load of enthusiasm at the time of the rebrand and then in the build up to the seasons opener, but a reversion to type would seem to have occurred......but the ceasefire is in place until after the Castleford game......so that's all I will say for now.

We seemed to go into the re branding with such real enthusiasm things looked so promising and then it seems it has all fizzled to nothing? small things like the link to the MK website for merchandise what little there is, it still says replica shirts available January? I did get one of the polo shirts I am pleased, but why did they put rugby league on much of the merchandise and not the polo shirt, I get people asking me what sport it is?

To still have no shirt sponsor at this stage of the season! as we discussed weeks ago it would be better to make BBC Radio London our media partner and give them the shirt sponsorship for all they do for us with the weekly programme and match coverage.

More and more I find it difficult to work out the clubs mindset, why email's with suggestions just seem to get ignored, I wrote to MK about the shirts three times no response?

This week I did hear something from a rugby league friend/contact who had put something forward as an introduction to the club and nothing was ever done?

I get the feeling the employees have the same budget to work with as we as fans have. Either no-one is reading them because there is no-one there, willing or interested OR they simply don't have the money to implement even the most basic and what would seem cost-effective use of money to get the club known beyond it's existing fanbase.

Skolars also have an excellent guy working full time at the club called Howard Kramer who, since he started at the club a few years ago, has seen their profile grow.
