In know it's still a way off but I was thinking of our seating at the Millenium Stadium.
Last year, we were spread out over the Upper Tier & the Lower Tier near the corner. Consequently, our small number of fans were spread out over one side of the stadium.
How much better it looked & sounded, to have all your fans in one small section, as the Catalans & Salford Reds fans managed to get.
I know the view is not as good as from the Upper Tier but surely the atmosphere is so much better being all together in one place.
I'd be interested to hear other London Supporters views on this & if it proves to be in favour of a move to one smaller section, knowing that Gus reads this forum, maybe he could arrange this when we book our clubs allocation.

Our tickets were sold to other fans thats why we were so spread out! We wanted to be with all the Quins fans but the 4 of us were miles away!

When the ticketing details came out they gave the impression that blocks of the upstairs seating were designated to a specific club and when you spoke to the ticketing office they said nothing to the contrary. When I tried to book a block of tickets they were able to accommodate all but 2 and gave me the impression that tickets had been snapped up fast by `our` supporters............truth is they were selling the tickets to all the clubs for the same areas, it was only downstairs that fans were able to group together. Upstairs is just a question of `first come, first served`.

Warrington took most of our allocation upstairs, no?

Here's a thought......why don't the club buy 1,000 tickets, then sell them to our fans.....ensuring that all London fans are sat together.
Even better, why not book a hotel/motel up, arrange some coaches and package the entire trip up....it might even make a profit..........just like other ESL clubs do for their fans.



I had about 125 people on a contact list for away travel in 2008 (or was it 09)........I would at a guess say the majority of them would be up for an organised trip....booked now, paid off over the winter months.....even better, take pre-orders for the new shirts and collect them as you are boarding the bus........

21/02/2011 was the first email I had from him.....still haven't had a call although he does send me an email every 6 to 8 weeks saying he will call soon

1000 is a bit optimistic and I very much doubt the new shirts will be ready for Magic Weekend, but it will be great if the club manages to organise something like that.

I'm sure the rfl would give them to he club at a very good price. They did a deal last year for every club to get x amount of grand final tickets cheap ( I believe it was 1500 at £15 each but could be wrong)

It's a good idea and magic weekend is a great experience so it could encourage some people who haven't been before to try it.

And if the Quins fans could actually get a block of supporters together I would definitely want to be there for our game. I think I would want to move around for the other games though to sit with the appropriate set of supporters

Wales playing Scotland at the Millenium on Sunday 12/2/2012 on the likely starting week of season.

Think someone thought it was going to be the May Bank Holiday 5/6 May but can't find any reference now.

I heard it was possibly going to be on weekend of 18/19 Feb.

That's what I'd heard as well. Was some time ago, so may be wrong/been changed?

Anyone know if the Olympics will affect the SL season?
