Every team has to have a couple of crap players that the supporters can slag off, these two fit the bill nicely.

not really, he still says who he wants, now if he gets them or not is a different matter

, but its looking good for you lot so far, better than this year anyway.

Cook's a good player, and another local too. Always good to have a few southerners around.

Colbon on the other hand.....fits you're description well.

Colbon isn't crap, just the definition of average.

He'll be solid and put 100% in every game.

Which won't be many, going by the amount of injuries he seems to get. Would be a mistake to jettison a rapidly improving O'Callaghan for someone like Colbon.

Not signings to get excited about, BUT Quin have made 3 very exciting signings already along with with excellent signings. One of thier major problems this year has been squad depth. Cook & Colbon fit that bill perfectly. Nothing fancy or game winners (But Quins have already signed game winners) but will do a job for you.

Cook is better than any 2nd rower currently at our club imo

O'Callaghan's been our most improved player and top metre maker this year. He deserves to remain in the mix for a starting spot.

Agree O'callaghans been our best winger this season and is a lot better than Colborn who has gone backwards at KR.

Have seen the rovers fans constantly berating Justin Morgan for not playing him, especially whne he constantly had good games when he played, so hope he will be a very good signing.

Thought however, Powell wasn't going to sign any 'Northeners'?

Welcome home Matt Cook, another player who has come through the London academy, even if it has taken him a few years.

Didn't he do a stint at Saracens RU as well?
Probably didn't fit in there as he's not a Saffer.

He's no Frankie Napoli...

Cook's quite solid and occasionally quite good, hits the line well and has decent speed. He used to have a super offload but seemed to forget he had it. Steady away player.

Think he played age-group rugby for both Broncos and Saracens, and for England at both codes too. Then Bradford offered him a good deal, including paying for his tuition at some boarding school up north IIRC, and he moved up there.

Cook and Colbon are both good players who will prove excellent acquistions for you.

For whatever reason, Cook's face never quite seemed to fit at Craven Park but he made a real impact in his few starts this season and was very much a fans favourite.

He has gamebreaking qualities and definitely still has his best years ahead of him.

Though not the flashiest of wingers, Colbon never let Rovers down in three seasons and offers great value for money.

Though a strong finisher, probably his best asset is the strength of his ball-carrying.

I am sure he could easily be transformed into a back-rower if need be!
