| Five mins from London Bridge, not cavernous, working class area that some people seem to think is important, near the Greenwich Admirals and South London Storm... can't be the first time anyone's thought of it. IS there some obvious problem with it that I'm missing?

| I reckon if I was to start a new SL team in London, if I could not get the new Olympic stadium, I would definitely go for a soccer ground in a working class area. Why?, RL remains stubbornly a working class sport, one of the reasons for the crowd failures at the Stoop. Most of our original core fans were Fulham football fans, and they for me should be the target audience for marketing. RL has more in common fan-wise with soccer than RU. And Millwall could easily become a fortress, the away teams would not like going there! It is bizarre but I think the East End has more potential than South West London, it could hardly be any worse. NB Charlton is not in the East End! Go Mudchute Uncles!!!

| I seem to recall it was considered when we left the Valley. Dulwich Hamlet FC, a couple of stops further down the railway line, certainly was visited by people from the club back then. What's the train service like down there now? When I lived out that way there were no trains on Sunday though that has certainly changed and they do run now, not sure how often though.
As an aside the vast majority of genuine Millwall fans are good people. I've been there as an away fan several times, a few idiots in the top tier of the left hand stand, from the away end, tend to spend the match gesticulating at away fans not watching, the rest support Millwall. The local police are pretty well organised as well with a secure walkway to the ground for away fans etc. (I support a team that also has a problem and our fans were banned from there a few seasons ago, as it happens Millwall gave the away end tickets to local youth clubs etc and I went along with one of them with no problems.) As with many teams there can be issues when their big match muppets turn up but the chances of them rocking up to RL are very small to be honest.

| Millwall would be an impossible sell. Irrespective of whether the prejudices are justified or not, they exist in most sports supporters heads.

Surely they are selling it to a housing developer of something to get some money back.
I think any move is a while off if it even does happen, we will have our next 3 year licence at the stoop so nothing will happen before 2015.
I think sharing a football ground is a good idea as I like how they are closer to the pitch and (generally) they are usually easily reachable by public transport, I've not been inside the new den to comment on their facilities, but I would happily watch rl there. Perhaps we could be the London Lions if we shared with millwall?

| When you think of Millwall FC sadly you do think of a few extreme supporters but at least I feel we have more chance than we will ever have under the Quins name and everything has to be considered, our first time at The Stoop was not as bad as now but then we were not using the name Quins!
It is clear that we have to rid ourself of the name ASAP and look to a more working class area and football ground quickly!

| I'd suggest that the size of the ground would be rather important. Millwall, 20k capacity is just too big for us. It is bad enough with 2kish of us rattling around at The Stoop, another 4000 seats would exacerbate the issue. Also, given the very high percentage of season ticket holders we lost when moving from Charlton to Brentford I'm sure the clubs preference would be West London somewhere.

| Saracens are moving in just down the road from Barnet. Would there be room for two codes of rugby to move into the same area? I think we all know which one would have the money and marketing drive required to hoover up anyone in the locality interested in watching rugby.

| Now QPR have gone up and they have a relatively small ground for a prem side would the new owners (very rich) not look for a brownfield site to build a new stadium with better capacity?
The best bet if they must move into a football ground is Loftus Road.
Sarries are looking to move in the Copthall sports area in Mill Hill, but isn't that Skolars territory?

| Fantastic, people are suggesting moving from one Union ground to another, removing whatever small roots we have laid and alientating hundreds of supporters.
You couldn't make it up

Ah yes, a day out in Barnet, absolutely nowhere near London, in a toilet of a ground. Superb, I can't wait. I bet supporters from the North will be flocking to that away game too, rather than an away day at the Stoop, which is generally recognised as one of the best stadiums for watching Rugby League in in the Super League.

| So if we went and played at Millwall, should we expect hoardes of people from Peckham and Bermondsey turning up because these are "working class" areas?
Hilarious argument.
I'd suggest people come and enter the realms of 2011, it's great.
