I thought heads were going to roll ! So Calderwood and Thomas are dropped from squad and they didnt even play. Effectively Ward and Bryan in, but still in there are O'C and Williams. Cas must be laughing their socks off.

Was going to ask the something about Burnett. i know they have some dodgy curry houses in London,but surely even one of them cant have kept the guy out for this long.

As Mellor did he come back from Wigan after they recalled him.. If he ddi then he got to be worth ashot after all he keeps sticking with Pryce (can see Cas running Withers at him all night). also dont think Kouparitsas brings anything to the team of the bench as hooker. if we going to stick with him of the becnh then wouldnt it be best to use him at LF move Bailey to SO and have Randall move into hooker when Ellis goes off

As for the changes he said might happen,well cant see it. i would have used Thomas instead of Williams. Maybe even for a long shot if hes not going to use Calderwood then try out Latus or Caro on the wing and even took a chance of Edwards/Sarginson of the bench so can spell Randall as well as Ellis. After all what we got to lose trying them out (apart from another 40+ point hammering

Williams has looked very poor on the two occasions I have seen him playing for Fev this season, so I'd be disappointed to see him turning out in Super League. But then I'd like to see 4 of those players dropped

can't tackle, feet always glued to the floor, makes no metres, but one of our youth development products.

What has Calderwood got to do to get in the squad. He was one of the better ones at Bradford. I am losing patience with our coach. Was glad to see the back of Mac, was hoping it wouldn't be Powell and am beginning to totally despair of ever having a coach who can coach or pick a winning team. Few weeks in and wish I wasn't a season ticket holder my faith feels truely tested. My rose tinted specs can't even get me through this debacle of a team.

Brian Mac used to say (when challenged by beer-fuelled supporters after our usual flogging), that we fans only saw the players for 80 minutes and he had to make his judgement on what they had been doing all week. Last weeks effort looked like they had been trying to avoid tackling all week!

It was mentioned in League Weekly that Wigan would like to send him out on loan again but Quins didn't want him back.

I'm not surprised seeing as Wigan can just recall him whenever they please.

Dunno mate but I remember coming back from a holiday abroad a few years back with the nastiest b*st*rd
gut bug ever as well as my duty frees! I must have lost about 10-11lbs in 7-10 days - an effective weight loss programme I grant you but not one I would recommend! If Burnett has something of this nature (rather than just abit of an upset stomach following a night on the lash and a dodgy kebab!) it will have been extremely debilitating and will take him a fair while to fully get over (2-3 weeks at least). I hope he's on the mend - I know how unpleasant a serious bout of food poisoning can be - I thought he'd been one of our most effective performers early on in the season. Get well soon Mike.

Does JO'C deserve selection or not, have missed most of the season until now but from what I saw last year he is as good as the options and still v young.

I see views are divided from day to day, notably PC Plum. Monday In-Wednesday Out posts.

I would like to see him play at centre, but that may underline my lack of rugby knowledge!

is simple - on current form he does not deserve to be in the starting 13, he works hard and is better under the high ball than last season but is defensively naive and his try scoring record is simply not good enough. We have a former England international in the squad who, I believe merits a run.

Before last nights game Burnett said the food poisoning was from chicken, and I noticed when Calderwood left the Jesters Bar he had a slight limp
