Good to see the Evening Standard continuing with its policy of silence on Rugby League in the capital. I have emailed the sports editor advising him that he is missing a good story but don't hold your breath. I reckon that those nice folks in M52 land don't realise what we are up against down here - with the wonderful exception of BBC Radio London.

I'm going to use the metaphor of underground music, Rugby League being underground music in this instance.

All the best music is from the underground. Not many people will know about but when they discover it they never leave or were never going to fall in love.

Worrying lack of coverage generally for this one - Didn't get a metro this morning so don't know if an ad was in there but nothing in Sport (free commuter rag on fridays) or on the website of any of the broadsheets I've looked up
