It was in this morning's Metro as well. Anyone on my train this morning would have had enough time to read it, navigate our online ticket booking system and probably watch the match

One thing for sure is that Metro will be read by more people than Arcadia.

Actually saw it in a tattered copy on t' underground at stupid o'clock last night on my way back from Heathrow.............I personally think it's a good move, coupled with the Chief Exec's statement today (see my other post) I'm feeling quite positive about this season.

IIRC the last time we used METRO to promote a game 6,500 turned up at Griffin Park to see us play Leeds.....although I think the offer included some very cheap VB as well.

Just about to go on the train so hopefully there will still be some left.

On the advert - good to see Quins making a real effort my only slight pedantic comment would be I think they possibly missed a trick by not mentioning Gareth Thomas playing for Crusaders.

I might try and come over for this. Basically a tenner to get in is a bargain.

That advertisement is superb but I'm not convinced it'll be worth the outlay. Fingers crossed though.

depends on the outlay......without saying too much that would offend some on here, the campaign to "save londoners money" in METRO was something first laid on the table when a certain poster was putting together the Envirofone recycling deal with them (something that was offered to the club free of charge as a way to raise funds for the community projects...everyone donated 1 old mobile......but the club never ran with it

The cost of promoting your "offer" was going to be considerably less than a normal advert and there was to be a running total of the money "saved" by londoners as a result of the campaign........

The same offer was repeated in today's Metro.

I was assuming this was being arranged under the 'marketing help from the RFL' agreement. Good work though. I think there should be a decent crowd, especially with Cru winning last week so well. 4k+ would be good. 5k+ unlikely.

The thing with this type of marketing is that it might well not pay off on it's own done once , it needs to be repeated regularly , along with other stuff aimed at different types of people in different ways
