we all thought he was going to wakey,but quins seem to his destination now,but only on a season loan.only 22,and has played enough times for us to know he will serve you well.with the forwards hull have he was struggling to get in,but hull have said his long term future is at the kc stadium.

Looked a good prospect in 2008, less so in 09 and looked quite average in 2010. If we get him he will be our 22nd member of our first-team squad so at the minute it is bodies that we need and he is one of those at least.

Would love it if a coach introduced a player with as much enthusiasm. He's a body at least.

Too much listening to Harry Redknapp over the years, he always wants to bring in another body. But on a serious note second-row is probably the simplest position in rugby league, surely we should be looking at the 'harder' to fill roles, ie prop and halves. I will always back a Londoner to play in the second-row, having one in the 6 or 7 jersey may be a few years down the line.

I stand by my statement that we shouldn't be signing second-rowers when there are far more pressing areas for recruitment such as our paper-thin front row. But it is clear that Mike Burnett is a Super League quality player, and was only a fringe player at Hull FC because they have a wealth of international back-rowers.

Thats rather a sweeping statement,how often have you seen him play?Personaly I think the lad has prospects.

I did get excited when I read "James Johnston a 24-year-old Samoa international acquired his new deal until 2013." I thought I don't know him but at least the club are being pro-active and bringing in a south sea islander, but then saw Aviva and realised that the union side had resigned a player I had never even heard of.
