| I'd be suprised if Harlequins aren't sniffing round him.
He's a Wigan lad who played for Warrington academy before signing for Wigan academy. He was the regular U20 hooker for a couple of years before being released last year and he was tipped by many to be given ago within the first team but obviously wasn't offered the opportunity.
I believe he is now playing for London Skolars (not sure what made him sign there?) and seems to be impressing. I'd be very suprised if Harlequins haven't enquired about him as he's a very good player.

| Having seen Sam transform the Skolars attack he may well be worth a punt. A proven try scorer who never lies down. I think he may well like the London scene.

| Sam was brilliant today, 3 tries one from the kick-off length of the field, one close in and one chip and catch. He played for less than an hour. He seems to have everything, the Skolars should be able to improve next year with his ability.

| I agree that he was a class act for Skolars today (they won 68-22). In fact, it is a long time (if ever) since they had anyone with so much flair and so many ideas.
It wouldn't be wise to read too much into one game against Gateshead, who are probably the only team in the competition weaker than Skolars, but if this really is a sign of what he can do week in week out, I would be surprised if he would be happy to continue playing at that level. Maybe he is putting himself in the shop window and hoping a bigger club (Quins?) comes along.
