| Why did the Admin staff go on an away day the day before a home game?
Which rugby clubs are West Ham approaching to share with at the Olympic stadium?
(I don't know either, but they say they would like to share with a rugby club)
Why have no new players been announced for next season?
Why do so many players not want to be at Quins next season?
" There are more questions than answers......................"
Whilst we lie in the gutter looking at the stars at least we can muse on our impending future, we can only guess no one will tell us anything!

| I have no problem playing in East London but im sure we have to have that awful running track around the ground which means you are so far removed from the playing area itself that it will kill it as a sporting entertainment. I remember Crystal Palace very well and the awfull atmosphere - or lack of it. Anyway it will be a new owner who would have to make that decision IMO and he is no where to be seen.

| The thing is, if we did share, it would actually be our own ground for the first time in our existence.
When we moved to the Stoop we were told pretty much the same thing, that It was ours and we were to become this single entity.
Since they got promoted all that has changed and we are now paying rent again with them as our landlords.
Maybe one more move is the key. (If you look at the big football a lot of them had a nomadic existences in their early years and it was only when they settled down in their own grounds that they really took off - I know sport has changed a lot if 100 years but you get the point)
As for ripping up our roots and shipping across London. I see no evidence on a match day of the clubs community presence and the rest - the community development- can be done from anywhere.
Where as I was once 100 per cent against moving, maybe getting our own ground and maybe even our own identity is the key rather than under the line community growth
.

| While I would have no objection to a new stadium shared with West Ham (my two teams, a lot easier for me to get to - what's not to like!) is it just me or is our fan base, or indeed that of any RL club a bit small for the Olympic stadium? I used to think the Valley was a bit big for us, this place will be 2-3 times bigger!

Correct, it's not even worth discussing.

| Location is the least of our worries. In fact it is one of the few things going in our favour. We have even had decent crowds at the Stoop in the past.

| I couldnt care less where we play as long as its within an hour or so drive. If we stay within London I guess wed keep the hardcore fans anyway and we havent built on that in the slightest in Twick anyway so nothing to lose....except a hefty rental charge from our rah rah overlords.

My main consolation is that in the 30 year history of the club we have been very near death at least five times: Fulham (twice), Crusaders (once) Broncos (twice), each time seemingly form the blue someone has stepped forward hands in deep pockets and kept us going. All the other times it seemed unlikely, may be the next time it could be the fans who resurrect the old beast. You can quite clearly see my thinking, on present trajectory we will be wound-up sooner rather later, with less friends up north than in the past. However, there are probably worse basket cases than ourselves, Wakey and Crusaders come to mind, and therefore as long as Mr Hughes is prepared to lose a million a year (a big ask) we may yet survive but given the last four years I wonder is it worth it as we seem to be becoming a breeding ground for youngsters for the richer northern clubs. Whoa whoa!

| would west ham want a rugby league club sharing the stadium? i cant see they would due to small crowds and surely they would only be looking at rugby union clubs? as a west ham supporter i cant see why they would do this but anyhows gold and sullivan will do what the hell they like. i for one would love to see quins getting 10k crowds in a nice stadium i just cant see it happening in the near future.

| I'd take 1,000,000 a year from them if it meant the survival of the club. But that's me...always worrying about the stuff that's not important and ignoring the Rugby
[url=http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=london%20skolars&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wlAlternative here[/url if the club can't find a new investor....I wonder where Listy would get to hang the flag

I know i've been shouted down about London RL moving to the Olympic Stadium before. But I still think one last move on this occasion is justified, get to a top facility, with great transport links, make it your home. Get a long lease so you can't get kicked out of the stadium. I am sympathetic to fans who live near The Stoop, but this sharing a name isn't working.
On the note of West Ham not wanting a Rugby League club sharing with them, i'd say that that's exactly what they do want. The state of the pitches that Rugby Yawnion play on with Football clubs is abysmal. Just ask Stockport & Watford fans. Whereas League is a summer sport and if you just look at Leigh's pitch which has 2 football clubs on it, it's like a billiard table.
Get to the Olympic Stadium with West Ham. Be called Broncos again, regain your identity.
