if it does move then having sats game, with next to no buzz surrounding it, as out last home game, in July no less, is pretty disgraceful and a pee poor end to a pee poor season.

It's still showing on the club website as being on the Saturday at 3pm. Perhaps it will stay there despite the union double header? I mean, it's several weeks now since we've known about this clash, if it's going to be moved surely the club would at least flag up that possibility and list the date/time as "TBC"? A lot of our supporters could be totally oblivious to any clash of events and if it does get moved and they aren't told until the last minute we'll inevitably lose some of them on the day as they'll already have made other arrangements.

There is absolutely nothing to suggest that we will be playing the game at MK beyond a few peoples musings on these forums.

What is this fixation with Milton Keynes????

It definitely won't be at MK Dons as they have a home game on the Saturday, and can't see them allowing RL on the Friday night there before their game.

My money is on The Stoop on the Friday night, that will avoid conflict with the Double header and allow the pitch time to recover for the Ladies International on the Sunday.

........and yes, I have noticed that MK Dons kick off is 12.15 (Double Header !!!!??) but the logistics of switching pitch markings, posts etc between games is a bit iffy, but scarily Sky Sports are there for that one as well....mmmmmmmmm

If it IS a Friday night, then I can't see it being anywhere other than The Stoop. It would've been nice for the club to have made an annoucement about the whole thing really, but what do you expect?

We rent the Stoop so I'd guess the Landlords get first call but I don't think we have ever formally been told. Have to agree it's sad the possibility of this one being moved hasn't been flagged up, it's surely not too much to ask.

and...as I said from the first time I was told how shoddyly we were being treated.....start acting like PAYING CUSTOMERS.
If I was paying for a product or service that the supplier dictated when I got it, how I got it and in what size I got it I would switch suppliers.......even 10k a game would take 130k off their income next year if we were to move.
Quins RL need to stop being the in9 bridesmaids.......make a stand and grow a set of boll0x...IMO that is......

In fairness this change is beyond the control of Quins RU. The pitch isn't actually going to be in use by them on the original date of our game. I would imagine the Union Premiership double header at Twickenham is pretty much set in stone on the union calendar, which begs the question of why we scheduled one of our games for the same day in the first place. In the past I'm sure the union team has played cup games etc. around our fixtures rather than making us move. They don't actually have any home games as such during the second haf of our season. Our own club often seems to play matches on random days of the week by choice, regardless of any other events.

It is a police decision - now why they can't let us play when we have done with concerts at the big stadium or indeed this Saturday with the Watchtower thingy on there I have no idea.

Oh no! Not those weirdos again. They usually have a parallel event on the same weekend at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre just over the road from my home, so I get a double whammy.

I like the way the linked article describes Milton Keynes as "the outskirts of the capital". We're already on the outskirts of the capital; MK is in the middle of nowhere and almost halfway to Birmingham!

Not that I think the game will get moved but if it does then this Sat is our last home game and that will mean the season ends with such a disappointing whimper

Ok now the rumours can stop as the game is at the Stoop on friday night. Its on the both Quins offical web site and their facebook page.

Now we can forget MK stadium and just worry and moan about getting round the M25 on a friday night. myself included.
