Matterson is living proof that being a good player is no guarantee of being a good coach. I haven't read his comments this weekend but he's come over as a whinger in the past, so no thanks.

Yes he never lifted a finger to help the Quins.
I can count the fingers on one hand the number of times he has made good tactical substitutions.
I've heard he has a parttime job as an agent, suggests he has fingers in too many pies.
Its about time he pulled his finger out - oh he's done that already

Matterson's done a decent job at Cas, its just a fans knee jerk reaction to a few losses and a terrible cup result. Loads of injuries to key players too. Much better coach than Mac but Ive always got the impression Matterson doesnt approve of London becoming the Quins so I doubt he'd see it as a home-coming. Id take him over Mac though.
