Just the type of player we need but I think there is more chance of seeing a pig flying over the Stoop than this happening.

I'd love to have Mateo back, but his weakness was that he was too hot-headed. Maybe that's been sorted out by now but if not the ideal man to manage him would be his national coach, one Jim Dymock.



A dream partnership and I think that probably the only way that Mateo would come here would be to work under Dymock or somebody of equal standing in the NRL.

Would be great, but question remains, could we afford him (or perhaps could we afford not to)

I can't imagine him not being in the NRL next year - I thought part of the reason for Para releasing players was to keep him and Hayne et all, and with Cayless retiring you'd think that would free some cash.



Of course I'd love him to come here.

After a 5 weeks back in Aus and seeing my Eels underacheive (although a nice afternoon making a 20 point come back against manly was fun) at least I will not be dissapointed coming back to see my english team cop flogging after flogging at the stoop
