| In an ideal world we could now sign Robinson who I have wanted for some time. Sadly I guess it isnt going to happen as I guess he's on very good money without having to move down South.
Pity IMO

Loan for the rest of the season? He has aspirations to play international footy and he won't get that playing of the bench for hudds.

He always seems to be a thorn in our side, ever since he was on loan at Cas in 2004 and orchestrated their first win of the season against us; then on subsequesnt occasions for Salford & Huddersfield.

| On a side issue to this...as we all know we are rather slim on prop forward options this year and as such we have about as much "go-forward" as a brick wall. Why haven't we gone and looked at some of these NL1 players or other SL teams fringe players for a months cover? One guy that stands out which I thought we should have attempted to purchase anyway would be that young prop from Barrow (Dang, I can't remember his name) - he has a good all round game and can smash the ball up hard. Obviously Barrow may not be willing to let him go, but I do often wonder how far our net goes when searching players. We've brought in Bibb....has he played yet? Instead we keep rushing Temata back and each game he strains the same injury again and goes off.

| No, was this guy -www.barrowrlfc.com/barrow_rugby_teamdetails.asp?playerID=60
Saw him a few times last season and thought he was pretty useful....defo. better than what we're using at the moment!! Surely a 2 month loan or similar would help both Quins and Barrow...we get the cover and some "go-forward" and they get a young player developed further in a stronger league/environment.

| I think i read some where that Nathan Brown plans to use Robinson as more as a hooker. which IMO is a big waste. Yes i no it gives him freedom to make runs from dummy half, but i dont think it will make use of his kicking game or the space which he seems to find when playing SH. (as we have all seem on to many occasions against us.).
On the other side note of loan players, and as talking about Barrow what about Ned Catic. Big guy can run at forwards, got an offload and a bit of pace about him, plus some SL experience.

Agreed he's a really strong half back on the fringe of the England team, and they already have 2 class hookers in their squad!!

| Robbo is going to 9 (cover at 7). He just signed a 2 year contract extension knowing this was the plan and has said so.
he is not a 7. No long kicking game / poor option selection when short kicks are possible / erractic when short kicks attempted. Certain pass options have poor execution.
However he has a big heart / gives 100%/ excellent backing up/ very effective at 9 especialy running around forwards with poor lateral movement (and tired). This year he has been very effctive when Grix has gone to 7 and he has gone to hooker.
Faiumu is used more in the back row than hooker but can move there as cover. This gives us Brough/Brown in the halves, Lunt / Robbo at hooker with Drew / Grix (Carlile /Wood) as cover or rotation.

| He is a superb player although most opposition I suspect would say a "hate figure" just by the way he plays. Full of tricks, speed, quick thinking, aggression-sadly something we are missing since we lost Marty(not that he was a hate figure)
