4. Clubb (not sure really a centre, but who else?)

5. Melling (see above but substitute winger)

6. Orr

7. Gale (put him just ahead of Dorn based on the latter's form last year)

8. Temata

9. Randall

10. Ward

11. Willaimson

12. Golden (2 such defensive players in 2nd row not ideal)

13. Purdham



14. LMS

15. Wilkes

16. Ellis (all teams play 2 hookers if they can)

17. Bolger / Bryan (rotated)

The team now is a way off being competitive. Add the missing few and we jump up to the levels of 'should beat Salford'. We're told we spend nearly up to the Salary Cap so why after last season's meltdown has Mac not been able to assemble a competitive squad that might make a challenge for the play-offs?

When was that said by the club? I know the fans forum from January never happened, but has someone spoked to the club about this? If it's true it's incredible....who do we have on our books that deserves "great" money....by "great" I mean Matt King esque.

As for the original poster......with everyone back we are a team that might make 8th......in my opinion that is.

Keith Hogg said they paid considerable more than they wanted to get Robinson and Williamson, but implied they believed they needed to do it to be competitive.

Oh dear. We really need someone else to do our recruitment for next year. This is a really weak squad with or without injuries. Purdo and Temata are a miss but even so.

By all accounts we paid Robinson and Wellsy off all of which remains on our Salary Cap sadly.

whose accounts? Wells is a retirement.....we should have insurance to cover that and Robinson? His choice...not ours!
