>Would suggest getting a bus. There is nice route to walk by the river but would probably take 30-45 mins with a youngster.
2 Any restaurant recommendations ?
>Depends what you like there is Wagamama in Richmond for cheapish noodles. If you like curry the Naz on Church St, Twickenham is good.
3 Any Pub Recommendations ?
>If you want value then can't really beat the William Web Ellis in Twickenham. The usual Weatherspoons food but they generally serve Twickenham fine ales. The Cabbage Patch is used by quite a few fans and does decent pizzas. If you do walk by the river then a stop at the White Swan is highly recomended
4 Any cheap tickets or way of getting discounts available ?
>Not sure on that suggest check the website

| I wouldn't advise walking from Richmond. It's two stops on the overground to Twickenham, then 10-15 minutes walk from there. If you want to eat to break the journey and eat in RIchmond, there's a Carluccio's across from Richmond Station, and a Thai Square there as well. Both OK, not too pricey (by local standards!) and should get you in and out quickly. Alternatively, there's a Tapas bar (Don Fernando's) next to the station. Pop back for the train to the game.
If you want to meet up with other fans, then stay on for Twickenham, but other people will have to help you.

| If a day travelcard to zone 4 bus will be included even though Twickenham in zone 5. Extra zone on the day travelcard and quick train to Twickenham would be a good call

Absolutely if you buy it as a stand alone. If you buy it as an add on to a train ticket from the North, it's Underground only. From Maidstone, its everything too. Strange.

Wetherspoon's is a safe bet in that case. The William Webb Ellis is the Twickenham 'Spoons and is only a few minutes walk from Twickenham station along the main road in the opposite direction to the ground. It's one of teh better 'Spoons I know and never seems to be overly crowded on our match days - shouldn't be any problem getting a table.

'"
This page spells out the price options for Travelcards covering the various combinations of zones.
www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/faresandt ... /2911.aspx
You can also add on a child Travelcard for £1. I'd recommend a £7.50 zones 1-6 Travelcard + "kid for a quid" = £8.50 total. You can then go direct from Waterloo to Twickenham on a fast frequent overground service and also do any tube journeys you might need to make in Central London at other times of the day. Even if you simply need to get from Waterloo to Twickenham and back again an adult + child return fare is £11.90 according to the National Rail Enquiries website Journey Planner, so you'll save money by getting a Travelcard.
A Travelcard for any zone is valid on buses only in all zones, so a 1-4 Travelcard could still be used to catch a bus from Richmond station (Zone 4) to Twickenham, where the station in in Zone 5. Depends whether you think it's worth the hassle of getting off a train that will take you to Twickenham anyway and transferring to a bus for a slower journey in order to save £1.20
