I've heard that there is a possibility that Quins RU may be rearranging their previously postponed home match v Leeds Carnegie for the same day as our match v St. Helens for a Quins RU/RL Double Header II
Nothing confirmed as yet.

Things like this ought to happen more IMO, if marketed correctly it could see some unionites falling in love with the greatest game. You'd expect a fair few to stick around if they pay for a double header ticket (which could be sold for the price of one game or just ever so slightly more? Not sure if that works logistically but it may well do if you've got fans of both codes coming in in tandem...)

Last time the RU season ticket holders got the seats and we were moved.

Clever stuff. Last time the full house (12,301)for the Union game was counted for QuinsRL as well and helped us to our only +4k average since 2000........regardless of the fact that the bars were full and the stands had the usual 3,000 in them for the Hudds game. Will bale out the season average though.....very clever tactic which will confuse and fool the flat earth society

If the Ground now holds 14,500 then this will add over 1k to each gate....champagne and back slapping all round! Revenue split percentages will be interesting too!

Whilst I whole heartedly agree with you there ought to be extra first aiders on the day as the sight of players picking up the ball and running with it might be too much for some to cope with!

I'm over this League is better than Union arguement. Both codes have their positives and negatives. The persistant bleating on about much better League is smacks of insecurity and childishness.

Yeah but League is better innit though!

What would happen if they played the RL first? You would have the climax to the League match with a health 7-8k crowd. If it was exciting that might tempt a few union followers.

Our games is on Sky - and it's against St Helens so may not be a close exciting game

The Union side have 6,000+ season ticket holders, so I would say it's a given that they will get their seats and RL season ticket holders will be moved.

Will be interesting to hear the disgruntled reaction from "some" regarding the fact they paid for their seat and how dare the club move them just to cook the books and artificially inflate the average gate

The Gold Season ticket holders will fail to see beyond their own interests, as usual.

I cant think of a sport id less like to share a double header with. More like one head and a backside.

I don't mind sharing a bed with them as long as they get out of it before I get in!
