Its been a good two or three years since my only other visit to the New River to watch Lebanon Russia and I've never seen t'Skolars. I'll be interested to see Limoux play and have been roped in by John_D to do a match report for my sometime hobby sang-et-or.net.

I think they may be too tough for the Skolars, though the Skolars gave Pia a game a couple of years ago.

Don't think so. I see no reason why it wouldn't be Sunday 7 March at 1500 hours.

Limoux will beat them I reckon; Third in the Elite, two of the best halfbacks in the domestic comp in Phil Ramage and Mickael Murcia. Ex-Dragon Lionel Teixido as well if I'm not mistaken.

Think I may pop across the Piccadilly line to wood green and watch this.

They often seem to play Saturday afternoons, possibly due to athletics taking place on Sundays. Also with their opponents having to travel from the south of France their preferences may come into it.

*edit: Just checked the RFL website and it's listed at Saturday 6 March at 13:30 hours, although as most of the fixtures have this rather odd kick off time given I suspect it may be some sort of default setting subject to alteration.

I see the Skolars have signed Ade Adebisi. Should go well in NL2 at the very least.

I'm going up to watch it as well. Wearing the Skolars shirt I picked up yesterday. I was talking to the bloke running Skolars stall yesterday, he was saying they were finding it hard to agree a day with Limoux when to play the game, the date Limoux wanted was the Saturday when the New River was unavailable, so he was entering into negotiations with Quins to play the match at The Stoop instead! This all came to nothing when Limoux changed their minds and decided to play it on the Sunday when New River Stadium was available.

You are. Sylvain Teixido is currently at Limoux. Don't know what Lionel is up to these days. Went to Albi, but don't know where he went after they went bust.

You forgot to mention the 2 props (Shead & Wood), Innes at fullback and Key, the other centre. Ramage & Key are exponents of the long pass & often combine to open up defences. Ramage is also adept at 40/20s, probably has highest number per season for any player in LER.
