Now that we have four players back (out of nearly ten out last week according to Brian !) is Sunday the day we put a marker down and proclaim this season is not going to be another write-off.

Well if the players play their part I think we should and show our love(!) on Sunday against the jailbirds. The alternative is one long season of moans and groans (or am I back on the love theme again!).

Catalans may be distracted, the weather will be cold and the players may be keen to get some winning money to treat their loved ones.

There are some Cockneys who pronounce it 'popular', actually. As RL is not really on the radar here (though we do have a local RU side formed by Canary Wharf types), I keep a low profile. Poplar is a cross between: [i'Eastenders'[/i, Sylhet (Bangladesh) and New York. It is one of the most vibrant parts of London. An RL team would be just the ticket. We could call them the Jellied Eels.
