Does anyone know if the club are issuing a 2010 club guide or is that a stupid question at this moment time, bearing in mind the current shirt fiasco ???

Well last years one was an on line download thing....Shame really, as until then, we always seemed to produce a quality glossy booklet every year....but times are hard....

Last year's was still very good , just online as you said.

As the author of the Club Guide since its inception in 2001, I can confirm that there won't be one this time round.

The Club were uncertain as to whether they needed a Guide given the content of the web site. Consequently, and also because last years version was tucked away somewhat on the web, it just wasn't worth the hours and hours of effort that went into it. The loss of the Club Guide is I believe a great shame but time ande circumstances move on.

I decided instead to spend my winter researching and writing a series of 30 Year anniversary articles for the matchday programme. The first one on Dave Rotheram was featured in Saturday's Wakefield programme.

Kenda, thanks for the reply - a great shame indeed ! I will miss it.
