....questions by Proxy please. I won't bother with the Purdham "when's he back" one as I am sure it will be covered..........
1. Are the club looking to replace Chad and if so, are there any targets other than 2nd rate 2nd rowers?
2. With the "better relaionship" (Elite Skolars words, not mine) between the 2 London Clubs and the increase in sponsors apparently willing to pay to have their name attached to the game on the 22nd, what steps have been made to ensure that this "better relatonship" benefits Quins? Have these companies been informed about the double header? Are we targetting a 10,000 gate (should be IMO) and all boxes sold?
3. Season Tickets......do we have a sustainable base to aim at a 5k average this season?
4. Someone please do what I did last year and ask Mac where we will finish. When he says first, ask him again "seriously". I don't think I have felt that talked down too since I was 13yrs old in a science class.
5. MARKETING! Now I am a long way away, but all I have received are a number of emails from the club so far in January. I have trawled the web and have found nothing to promote the game to a new local audience. Maybe, if there is still no OVERT marketing in Twickenham at present, someone could ask PB when there will be.......on the other hand, if there is a sign that we exist, whether that be posters, flyers or fixture lists in pubs, then ask if this will be maintained all season.
Really wish I was back in Blighty for the forum. The sense of expectation at the start of the season just isn't the same over here and the NRL/Warriors promotion machine hasn't cranked into action yet......
