| After watching the bore fest at Union Hq Yesterday I am still at a loss as to how good the marketing for this game is. 70000 odd thousand and the only highlight was watching how inept some of the tackling and ball carrying was.Hopefully Mr Blanchard and His backroom staff have the details of All the quins rah rah fans who went. Offer them some proper sport.

| I was there. The game was poor, Quins were poor, however, you cannot knock the day that Harlequins organised. Entertainment pre-game was great (even the eagle bringing the ball decided to go and sit among the fans in the upper tier of the south stand!), and the X Factor afro guy got tens of thousands of supporters singing "The Mighty Quinn" and waving tens of thousands of Quins flags at half-time. As a spectacle, it was fantastic. You can't deny that, and the fact that 76,000 people attended a league match is very impressive.
There was a very interesting piece in the programme about the growth of rugby LEAGUE in south-east's schools! In addition to this, they advertised the Wakefield match (with money off entrance offer) and the Melbourne Storm game in the programme as well.

| As observed by myself and us other Quins RL fans who attended yeserday..the only thing that spoiled the experience was the rugby itself.......The ground, build up, pre game entertainment and the air of excitement and expectation burst like a baloon as soon as the teams kicked off......If we could only entice just a few per cent of these mis- guided rah rah fans to see a real game, Quins RL would be in the money and no fear of a franchise application in 2 seasons time..

| Everyone keeps saying that the game was boring and if we could just get some of these supporters to see us play they would see the error of their ways, yes the game was boring i saw some of it on the tv and then again some of the highlights, but, but the way we played come the end of the season we played poor aswell, our games weren't exciting, they were boring and some of them were even poorer than the game yesterday, so unless we play better their will be no point getting them to come for the first game of the season, if we played like the back-end of last season then they would probably prefer union and still think union is the better game.
Imo of course.

If he knew what was wrong he'd have sorted it out before we slipped out of the top 8. Fact is he does'nt know, or he does but isn't able to fix it. imo - he doesn't know, so expect the worst in July again

But you'll also have to get an X Factor finalist there to provide some entertainment.
