| Noticed today in the sun, there were 5 lines saying McDermott is interested in the England RL job.
 
Anyone else see this happening?
Only reason it could happen is that McDermott is english, thats about it..  |

If Brian McDermott is seriously being considered by the RFL as the next England coach, then it is a bit of an indictment of successful English born coaches.

I can't see why they would want to appoint a coach who claimed to have no idea why his team had lost 11 games out of 12.
I imagine the RFL and Mike Ford are waiting to see if he gets sacked by the RFU. No reason to walk away from a pay-off.
