I don't think that Gardner should be the laughing stock. That "honour" belongs to whoever thought he was worth a SL contract.

As soon as we saw him drop the ball in the NL1 final last year, when he was over the line, with no one around him, you knew he was useless. |

Except he played a large part of the season at fullback, where he performed very well (in fact he was playing fullback at the start of the season when the side were playing well). |
