| I'm guessing at 4 quarters, cyan, red, chocolate and slate, with black green and white trim.

It won't be. It's not made by KooGa. It's made by Puma.

| Saints shirt is horrible, especially if you look at the other picture the one they pixelated the new shirt onto a old one of Roby.

| The size of the V on Saints new shirt is terrible, it would have been good to see a design similar to St George, but they are not a club brave enough, there new sponsor's name Frontline Bathrooms seems to have been photo shopped in!

| Whatever it looks like will be a missed opportunity. Only Celtic Crusaders, and ourselves have not used the opportunity of Xmas to sell shirts, unless of course something is planned very very soon
Can't help but think its another missed opportunity on the marketing front

Why would this be a missed opportunity on the marketing front??
Dont remember the last time we had a shirt out for xmas.
Im sure last years was reveled at the christmas thing? But wasn't sure if it was on sale then..
Edit: I think it was on sale for xmas.

You honestly can't see why its a missed opportunity? It doesn't matter if we've never had a shirt on sale at Christmas before, it doesn't make the move to do the same wrong thing that we have done in the past again this season.
The only reason I can think of them doing it like this, other than the clubs ineptidude, is that they are desperately trying to find a proper shirt sponsor and not the local college.

When the club launched the "cotton" shirt at the Kangaroos v Kiwis, they stated that the new replica shirt will be released close to the start of the season so that they can have it as close to the players as possible, ie. with all the sponsors on it.

Do you not think its a bit odd that EVERY other team decides to release their shirt in time for Christmas? Of course sales would be higher - people will use Christmas as an excuse to buy the shirt, whereas normally they might not bother. I won't be bothering when the season starts, but it would be nice if I recieved it as a Christmas present.

Yep, quite embarrassing that we can't get these sort of things sorted out well in advance though. Every other team can manage it.

To be fair it is the lack of a main sponsor and a couple of the smaller ones that is holding it up, sadly they are not queueing up to give us the money.

I know, and again, every other team has these kind of things in place, yet it takes us months. I recognise they aren't queuing up as such, but IMO the package must be sold badly as we get a huge amount of exposure even if we are lousy.

| Interesting how Wigan have managed to make their shirt available for pre-order with delivery before Christmas, even though they have no sponsor either. Whats the point, eh Tim?

| The point being that Wigan have a captive audience of 'pester power' kids who have RL firmly in their DNA!
Its like the Newcastle fan who has bought essentially the same shirt, by the same manufacturer, with the same sponsor for years.
Unfortunately Quins dont have that lure to kids (yet) as that kind of fan base takes generations to build up.
Quins are caught between being the novelty sports team of London, and the minimal exposure sports team of London.
For any sponsor these days, youre not sure what kind of coverage you are going to get, and also how targetted its going to be. As i said before, if Veuve Cliqouet sponsored Hull FC it would be the biggest waste of money, simply because the two dont sit hand in hand with each other.
Right now, Quins need to find the type of sponsor that can align themselves with the fan base of the club. Unfortunately, the club dont really know what that fan base is, and that takes a long time, or a lot of money.
Secondly, when that type of fan is ascertained - its then purely down to the ideal sponsor to actually want to give money to the club. And in this day and age - is very very difficult.
If big Premiership Football clubs struggle to get a sponsor, then a 'niche' RL club are going to find it even harder.
