I have been a member of Lensbury for 10 years

St Marys own the training grounds opposite so what a great set up the boys have for the season ahead , the union team have ended up training in Guilford

This sounds like a Paul Blanchard contra-deal to me.

Played a few games for the Lensbury gnomes (vets) team in the late 80's when I was brought in as a ringer for the shell employees rugger club. Cracking venue with a tradition of catering for top sports pro's in need of somewhere to stay. I recall a number of tennis pro's staying there during wimbledon.
On the IL buy out topic...has anyone heard if he has just ripped up his shares or managed to off-load them?

The rumours about IL not being able to keep his ownership of Wigan seem to have died down so I'm assuming the situation with Harlequins has been resolved.

It's near Teddington Lock. That's handy for The Anglers and The Tide End Cottage.

The anglers is a really nice place for a beer or 6 during the summer..
