For the first time in London Skolars' history, tonight sees them play live on Sky Sports 3 at 7.30pm.

In what has developed into an intriguing game, the Skolars take on their former coach Tony Benson and his Oldham outfit at Boundary Park. Oldham have had their fair share of off-field problems over the last month and the Skolars will be looking to continue their improved performances of late.

If you don't have SKY, or want to watch in a group of friends you can go to the Bloomsbury Pub in TW2 and I am sure it will be shown there if you ask. They have lots of Plasma screens and inglenooks and I would think they would be pleased to put it on one of the screens for you.

For those of you who didn't see it, the Skolars were winning from the 5th minute until the 75th and went down 28-22. Gareth Honor was man of the match, and the Skolars gained a bonus point.

Can they be on Sky every week?

Fantastic effort by Skolars, hopefully this means they can start to build up with their squad of locals.

Thats 2 BP in 2 weeks for them, if only their season started tonight, they would be in for a good one.

Makes me sad that I can't go to Friday Night Lights because if they play like they did tonight they could give any team in that division a run for their money.

Despite a dissapointing end result for the Skolars ,Ive got to say it was one of the most enjoyable games that I have seen on a Thursday night on Sky....Good to see ex Bronco academy player Oliie Fountain turning out for the Skolars..

Well done, BroncOnion, you are right. Time for me to make an appearance on here. It's so long since I've been on I forgot my password and had to reregister. I recognise a few names on here from the past.

Watched the match last night and was very proud of the lads and of Gareth getting MOTM. Remember Olu Iwenofu too - he's an Old London Broncos boy from the same time as Gareth. I went to Blackpool 2 weeks ago to watch them and they played almost as well as last night. They've just got to get a win now to show that they're really improving.
