Anyone know if it would be possible to get a banner like the union one that hangs in the corner of the East stand but for RL? The Pride of London one? It would be good to get a few RL specific ones, maybe even ones big enough to cover some of the empty seats in the other stands. Anyone know where the RU lot got theirs from?

Prices are not bad either, £60 for the base flag 12' x 6' (lettering is extra) colours are somewhat limited using the on site designer so I suppose a custom job will be needed which may bump up the price

Email him with your query, say what you want and he will come up with a design.

Would it be possible to get a flag which we could hold over a section of the crowd at The Stoop and pass it around the crowd? Obviously this would no doubt bump up the potential cost, but I'd be happy to make a contribution along with those that have already pledged.

Those that get passed over the top of people require a fire safety cert.

Wire have a huge one that gets passed along.

As far as I can recall from current fire safety regs I think the manufacturer of the flag has to ensure the the flag is manufactured with a flame retardent material or treated chemically to make it flame retardent and ensure that it complies with the fire regulation that covers furniture and furnishings. The manufacturer should issue a test certificate to prove this

As I am tied up getting the Wakey fun bus filled up, I am not in a position to organise the purchase of the flag. If someone else puts their hand up to do this, I don't see us having much of a problem raising £200 to cover the biggest flag with lettering.
Once the cost is covered, I like the idea of a design comp and will wait for listy's version sponsored by crayola
