| People talk about defining moments in a season. I know Chad was distraught after the game, indeed I tried to console hime as he overall had an absolute blinder. However I can't help wondering that if we had held on against Wigan, then we go 2 from 2 with out of sorts Salford and Warrington to follow when we have real momentum. However after that shock to the system, Salford now becomes a difficult game, and Warrington can turn their season round at any time. 4 from 4 suddenly means we are flying and serious contenders, 2 from 4 is ordinary.
Wigan on the other hand go 4-0 with Leeds and Bradford to follow. Now I feel they may get something from those games, and instead of 6-0, will probably go 4-2.
The pass that changed 2 seasons.

We lost. I am sure the players and Mac are over it (were by Sunday afternoon IMO) and are now focussing on Salford. Warrington are under performing and if they lose this weekend, then we need to be ruthless the following week. I see us as having 6 points by Sunday week and a healthy points difference (because it will be all about points difference at the business end of the season between 6th and 10th)

| Our season is defined after 2 games?
Unbelievable.
You tried to console him? What, was he in tears or something and had nobody else to turn to? Aren't you a hero!

I agree that winning on Saturday may have made a big difference to Wigan as they were dreadful in the first half and a fourth consecutive defeat would surely have left them even less confident for the next game, but it's only one loss for ourselves and I don't see that it will make much difference.
We lost the same fixture at the start of last season, conceding thirty or so unanswered points in the final quarter after leading well into the second half, then won our next four on the spin.

| Chad is a big favourite of mine and I hope he puts it behind him and we all move on.
However I can see where Ronnie is coming from. This game is all about confidence as much as skill. A win against Wigan would have given us lots of it and we would have gone up against Salford without any doubts or fears. Now that momentum is lost.
We may still beat Salford but as they say in wendyball, once you get that winning mentality it carries you. Likewise a losing mentality from losing a few games makes you cautious and hesitant and prone to errors making it difficult to change the way you play.
Lose now against Salford - and dont say it cant happen because we have been here before - and Wire does become a problem as we will be sitting on 2pts from 6pts.

the .. hic...Glass is always .... hic..... empty as far as ..... hic...... I am concerned.
One loss is just that...1 loss. We will win more this season than we did last year and end up on more points!

| Can we have some balance please. We won the Cas game on an interception, we lost the Wigan game on one. Get over it.
What we have to learn is killing off games and opponents. If we learn that soon we will have a good season. Mac is right to take one game at a time.
One problem on Saturday is that Wigan were playing their fourth SL and we our second, we will get better, as Gutterfax says "have patience".
There will be a lot of close games in SL this season and all but Leeds and Saints will have to suffer narrow defeats. I hope our nerves are up to it!

Deja vu time - when we blew it against Catalans in Cardiff with a similar suicide move Brain Mac went a bit bonkers when given the microphone! Way too early to get worried about one game/ one pass(albeit a spectactularly bad one!) defining our season but to have 4 points and a game or two in hand would have been really good.

| The Wigan match is now the past! just hope the players themselves don't continue to have inquest after inquest, we need to move on and Forward and beat Salford on Friday evening, that is all that counts now

No question about that! I think I was just being wistful, because our team needs to have big momentum to put consistent results together.
I'm not trying to be a hero Mr Lister, that was uncalled for. I'm one of Chad's biggest fans, and wanted to make him feel better.

They had the chances first half to do that and apart from a silly error late on still would have. I think if anything the players will reflect on it and be determined to put things right next game.
