This is unfortunately so typical of the Broncos. Perhaps Hughes thinks the cheaper the better (ideally free) but you generally get what you pay for and when we should be doing our absolute upmost to promote the club it's downright pathetic. Lobster needs to be shown his marching orders and Hughes needs to get someone in who has done a fantastic job elsewhere (whatever the cost) or the club is finished.

True enough but Hughes is the one who selects the staff and presumably sets the strategy. He has to take accountability for the mess. I suspect he won't though, perhaps he is happy enough for the club to fizzle out on his watch.

I am still scratching my head as to why this move to Wimbledon was even conceived?
Hughes has been around the club at multiple grounds and surely can't have been naive to think "the locals would flick to RL" after they didn't anywhere else?
AFAIK the corporate hospo at trailfinders never sold out and the fact that the club are already discounting it at Wimbledon shows that it's not the venue that was the issue.
Hughes needs to suck it up.....renegotiate with trailfinders, hire a competent GM (we don't need a CEO) and a young enthusiastic back office team. Re-engage with the core support and "listen" to the thoughts of those who sit in the rain, not those who suck up to him in the gold lounge.
I'd write this year off as a bad experience....spend money to stay up and plan for a huge 2023 at trailfinders with 13 EVENTS and a squad that can challenge with a decent coach. Revert to the old badge and old colours and open up the post match to everyone....York sell out their corp hospo because they gave it away for a few years and waited until demand outstripped capacity.....the broncos have tried that in reverse.
I'd set a target for a 2k average in 2023 at trailfinders.....2i think you'd start at a base of 900 if you apologise to those fans you've alienated first and add 1,100 through some hard work....
......but this is Hughes. He will never admit he is wrong. It will be the fans fault for not responding to his pleas....it will be the negativity from 12 internet posters....it'll be the dog ate his homework.....but never his fault

Hughes selected the CEO and coaching staff everyone else is brought in by Lobster and it’s his decision alone. He then tells Hughes who he has hired.

That is how it SHOULD be......but this is the Broncos!

I hadn’t really taken this on board before now but I see the banner to the Bradford game still doesn’t work because of some Technical snafu. Surely someone would check and sort it. Selling tickets to the games must be right up there for reasons to have a website. It’s really, really poor. They aren’t giving themselves a chance with this level of incompetence. They need to get their act together now before this becomes terminal.

I did not try and actually buy a ticket, but I was able to see the seating in landscape on my laptop

On plus side we have a match day sponsor and the club have done them the courtesy of publicising it on their Twitter.

Every confidence this will be sorted by Sunday. Sunday week that is. April 1st came early this year for Broncos fans. Hopefully a few tickets will sell now.

Ticketing situation seems to be finally sorted and a quick count shows that with 4 Days to go
555 Tickets showing as sold in sections 101-109 & 38 in the South Stand.
Great that we have a Matchday Sponsor, which means somebody at the club has been busy, although not on the Facebook Page which has been idle since March 9th.

No news on Buck'n'Dusty, matchday experience or any further information on recruitment or the search for volunteers.......I sincerely hope that the month that we are away after this game is far more constructive than the month since we were last home....the lack of any marketing for the Bradford game has been criminal, but to repeat that for the must win visit of Dewsbury would be treasonous!

I'm probably going to venture along Sunday for my first visit to Plough Lane. A combination of health problems in the family and weekend rail closures in Essex for the last few Sundays have stopped me so far. With covid running riot at the moment I'm minded to pay on the day - is that possible?

I believe you can pay at the club shop, (not at the gate), but expect to be in a long queue as probably only one person serving, and likely to be a large number of bradford fans queuing to pay on the day

Ask nicely & you might get a spot on the bench!

Huge increase in sales of tickets with a block of about 100+ Added to sales in the south stand and a few hundred more in the home sections.

Good to know there was sufficient interest that people kept trying to buy tickets and have finally been able to.

This is Bradford.
In the seasons 1996-2014 only Wigan and Saints bought more fans to games in the Capital with an average gate of 4,523.....

A quick glance shows 700 sold in the home sections 150 in the south stand.....That Block (132) of Bradford tickets in looks like 2 coaches.

No update on Facebook since March 9 (spam posts seem to be permitted in the comments)
No mention of our home game on the AFC Wimbledon website, FB page or forums.
Twitter and club site have the thoughts of Rhys Curran who says "the Broncos’ second half performance against their Cumbrian rivals represented the squad’s true potential"....10 points in the last 5 minutes to salvage a draw at Barrow = potential??????



Basically, with ZERO marketing, close to 900 pre-sales 3 days out is pretty good.
