I understand it Listy, Gus has done something to you and others that makes you feel you need complain about everything the club are trying to do. As I say, I am not praising anything the club do, but whilst I complain (regularly) about the lack of marketing and fans at games, you are whining about something that you currently have no idea, if it will work or not. I never launched a pre-emptive strike and always gave the club chances....even the fiasco that was the viral video and the Oyster Card holders was given time to fail before I launched....and even then, when the club had wasted about 20 grand on that tripe, I was berrated by your current grumpy old man partner, PP for being negative.......seriously guys, did Gus Napalm your granny's house or something?

You don't like the ST offer.....but maybe it is doing OK. You don't like the shirt or the colours, but until they are on sale in the club shop, nobody knows how well they will sell and now you are moaning about a hoodie that essentially is a replica of last years but with a different badge and manufacturer. To make your point, you compare the prices to the fire sale at the Union shop...a fact in itself that shows how bad things were/are at the club with regard to merchandise.
I repeat, I have no interest in the hoodies, fleeces or any other such stuff at present....what I want is a club that cuts its cloth accordingly and can afford to spend money on the important stuff. If you walk into the shop on opening match day and have a feel of the quality of the goods and don't like them, then don't buy them.....but stop moaning for the sake of it.

Why don't we just close the forum if we aren't allowed to have positive or negative reactions to what they are doing, and simple use this as a news base? I think its fairly critical what those on here think or what is going on as we are some of the only people who have somehow fallen into supporting a professional Rugby League side in the south, a fairly exclusive club. And if the powers that be read some of the reactions on here, then maybe something positive will get done.

I'd also appreciate it if you stopped making up my own apparent opinions. I never said that I "didn't like" the season ticket offer. I have also never commented on the clubs colours, only the woeful shirt design, in which a significant proportion of users concurred upon.

And I made my point by comparing the merchandise on offer in the Leeds club shop which is of high quality and doesn't take a genius to design (which you ignored), but I know you like to selectively read my posts and make things up, so I suppose it'll continue.

Alright then, lets have no ambition, we are a small club with no resources and should accept medicority as that is all we can afford/deserve.

I couldn't care less who makes our shirt/training wear and to be fair the designs look okay when they're on the players in the pic on the club site but the MKK site makes them look appaling.

I know they don't have a millionaire owner nor get any money from Sky Sports on a yearly basis. Its cheaper to get a pint there though (just).

We are a small club with very little in the way of resources but I have always had ambition as I believe the club has and I have tried to use ingenuity in my marketing rants as a replacement for the tens of thousands we don't have to spend on marketing.
I will back you 100% once the club has failed to attract the fans and sponsors required to make us sustainable, but the colour of a shirt or the type of stitch used on a seatshirt is really neither hear nor there in the greater scheme of things...

So lets all sit in silence while the club make a hash of everything, wonderful

I have for 10 years (longer actually, but 10 years as a fan) pointed out where I believed the mistakes were being made in regards to the Marketing and therefore the financial stability of the club and because the club have patently ignored everything I have suggested, I am in the enviable position od saying "I told you so". 2011 saw an average that was 700 a game worse than when I started banging on about it and although difficult to prove, I can at least claim that if any of the ideas I had touted had been tried, things might have been different!

You on the other hand, do not have that luxury, as you are currently dealing in your opinion on a number of issues, some of which I agree with, but until the club either change their ways due to them making a hash of it, or press ahead, as it is working, we will not be in a position to say if you were right or wrong.

BTW....remove Virgin, VB, Metro, Flight Centre and TNT from this shirt and you have the most boring shirt the club ever had...

Yes, London Broncos will be established sometime around 2020 (?!). What are you going on about? Not that your argument holds any credibitivy, but I have seen brand new clubs do infinitely better than us in these departments. So we have concluded it isn't time, or money that has an affect.
