I would think they want to have the official minutes or whatever issued by them. Sure WQ would have said something, unless it didn't take place.

Possibly pre-meeting drinks were held in one venue, with those of a certain age sent elsewhere and the actual meeting took place in a hastily rearranged pub but someone forgot to tell everyone and it was really difficult to get to anyway and prices were high so not many went. I believe that is our new go- to model!

This is the worst Broncos squad since I have been following the club. If you want to get fans back/in, you wont do it with an avge championship squad getting spanked by the top teams. A bit of ambition on the pitch will go a long way

I've never had to try hard to Hughes shortcomings...he freely admitted to them himself in print.
As for me personally. I've walked the walk here with a professional sports outfit, increasing gates and sponsorship. I've completed a degree and a masters in Marketing and my main source of income delivered in excess 13,000,000 direct messages for the government across the nation in the last 3 months. I've never said one size fits all, but what I have done is repeatedly stress that doing something is at least usually better than doing nothing......the ability of the club to be th exception to that rule is sometimes worrying, with episodes such as oyster card holders in the east, but in the main, they don't even try.

As for your repeated attacks on me, I ask again why? If I'm wrong, tell me so, but to call me naive because you think a question is awkward or won't be answered is crass. Asking fluffy questions about why an email isn't sent a regularly as you'd like is pointless. The choir has quit and preaching to the handful left isn't the solution. That's my view, but if you think it's wrong, then debate it and leave the personal stuff alone.

I believe that the current management team at the club makes Gus makay look like a polished pro.....happy for you to explain how this isn't the case if you disagree. Let's see if "your level" is up to it.

If the club genuinely want to know where it is going wrong, then I agree, some straight to the point t questions need to be asked. No point sugar coating stuff. Depends how serious the club are I guess

The question about why is the message not the same across platforms would usually be sound. Unfortunately so few people now seem to be receptive to the message, the key question is how do they plan to expand that reach? You can then worry about standardising the message.

Suffice to say I hope they are taking information on how to expand the reach from those who know. They can then take information on what people want from fans. If they think consulting with fans, loyal or disaffected, will solve the reach issue they are wrong. I'm in the disaffected camp but still care. More than most of those who used to watch Broncos so don't ask me how to get them back...

Squad littered with Home Grown players == Acadamy === Moving to a part time team with a few full time "stars". Also seasons to come statement means that they are not planning for Promotion in the short term..

So a rebuilding season with mainly kids in the team, for our first season at a new home, where we are trying to attract new fans? New fans who will turn up in there thousands to see the likes ot Halifax, York, Batley, Newcastle, Bradford, Leigh take us to the cleaners, and we will be battling with Dewsbury, Sheffield and whoever comes up to avoid the drop into League one.

If we have no ambition for SL, perhaps a move to Richmond Athletic ground would have been more appropriate. At least things would be back together with the academy setup.

Or perhaps we should have stayed put at Trailfinders? Could run 1st team, academy ,and the women's team out of one home ground with the artificial pitch.
Instead of a new dawn the move to Wimbledon sounds more lke a death knell.

Of course, Trailfinders is perfectly adequate for a second tier outfit.

With the current owner, CEO and Commercial Manager it was perfectly adequate in Superleague last time around .....the move to wimbledon is nothing more than another attempt to disguise the fact that Hughes has again appointed unqualified and incapapble people to key roles at the he club.

And it’ll surely cost us a lot more in rent than what we’ve been paying in Ealing. Which , considering our money is going to be severely cut, is an act of commercial suicide. Or possibly lunacy.

We've not been told what was discussed at the consultation event, so there may well be some "master plan" in place, but the only reason I can see for this move to Wimbledon with a part time squad is that we have been assured of a spot in SL2 which will be part of an overall switch to 20 franchised clubs in 2024. There is no other explanation.

The silence from those attending the consultation reeks of whatever plan and it's architects not being willing to scrutiny. There's complete and utter radio silence across all platforms including the so called RL Press......but I cannot for the life of me see how they expect to turn 100 fans into the 2k needed to pay the rent, let alone whilst fielding a part time side in the 2nd tier unless they know they'll be in SL2 in 2024.

As for acts of Lunacy......this is London Broncos under the ownership of David Hughes. Einstein came up with the "insanity is" saying just for us..

Hughesy "paid"for an open bar a few years ago in Toulouse.That was at the hotel we were staying in along with the team....Unfortunately he forgot to settle up before he checked out in the morning...One of the coaching staff had to dig deep eventually...Maybe its the same scenario and WQ is in a hostage situation until he coughs up...
